Karine Jean-Pierre’s Final Press Briefing Disaster
Listen tothis article
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s final press briefing shocked the media. Instead of allowing White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby to address the Israel-Hamas ceasefire, Jean-Pierre stole the spotlight, making the press conference all about herself, and provided no helpful updates.
Jean-Pierre reflected on how many press conferences she had given, and as one observer noted, “She basically said it was her goodbye party.” After celebrating herself for almost an hour, she finally provided scant details about the critical ceasefire.
What do you think the media members cared more about? Jean-Pierre’s trip down memory lane or the hostage deal for the war in Gaza? As a result of the bizarre press conference, Kirby had to make rounds on networks to tell the public about the ceasefire – and he even credited President Trump with helping the Biden Administration.
ACLJ Senior Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy Ric Grenell reacted to Jean-Pierre’s refusal to allow Kirby to speak:
I think there’s really big trouble within the Biden Administration. [Jean-Pierre and Kirby] don’t like each other. She undercut the State Department spokesman. She acted like she didn’t even know who it was, and then she said he speaks for himself. When he was speaking at the State Department podium, he complimented the Trump Administration. She’s barring Kirby from coming in. She thinks that she’s successful and kind of creating enemies from within her team. But I can tell you that her reputation is taking a big hit. People will remember this later, and she’s proven to be a disastrous spokesperson for a disastrous Administration.
Ric is right. Jean-Pierre didn’t really help President Biden very much since he got replaced as the presidential candidate for 2024. Honestly, seeing the final Biden Administration press conference go down in flames is the fitting end to an Administration that governed chaotically for four years.
Last night President Biden also gave an odd farewell address. He couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take one last shot at the incoming Trump Administration: “Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms, and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead. We see the consequences all across America.”
Of course, such a statement proves that Biden lives in an alternative universe because the data shows the majority of billionaires support the far Left. In actuality, President Trump made in-roads to unions and blue-collar workers who traditionally voted Democrat.
If anything, President Biden came across as frustrated because he knew his policies did more harm than good. Yet the media will still sing his praises. But what’s the truth? Read the top ten quotes that define Biden’s 50-plus years in American politics.
I want to comment briefly on how the Senate confirmation hearings have gone. We’ve discussed how the far Left tried to delay Tulsi Gabbard’s hearing. We’ve covered how radical protesters disrupted Pete Hegseth’s hearing and how the far Left’s hypocrisy got exposed yesterday in Pam Bondi’s hearings.
Clearly, the Deep State will stop at nothing to derail the incoming Administration. That’s why the ACLJ is sending a demand letter to the U.S. Senate to demand that President Trump’s national security team is confirmed quickly. We must ensure that America is protected from more terrorist attacks like the recent one in New Orleans. Sign our petition to add your name to our demand letter.
Today’s Sekulow broadcast included a full analysis of White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s self-absorbed final press conference. West Virginia Attorney General John B. (JB) McCuskey also joined the broadcast to discuss his role in serving the people of West Virginia.
