FBI Takes Over Tesla Attacks Investigation

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced that the FBI is investigating the recent surge in domestic attacks on Tesla vehicles and dealerships. The news follows Attorney General Pam Bondi threatening “severe consequences” for those engaging in “domestic terrorism” involving Tesla products.

You’ve likely seen the recent pictures of the Tesla vehicles and dealerships on fire. And the far Left has also launched “Tesla Takedown” protests, with the promise that its “biggest day of action” will come soon.

Amid the violent attacks on Tesla vehicles, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz inserted himself into the conversation during an appearance on California Governor Gavin Newsom’s podcast. Walz asserted that he could take most conservatives in a “WWE fight” and “kick most of their a––.” He also proclaimed to a crowd that he likes to “boost his mood” by looking at falling Tesla stock.

Walz’s rhetoric encapsulates how the far Left handles political disagreements. So much for civil boycotts or being the party of empathy – the far Left wants chaos and violence. On the other hand, when conservatives disagree with a company’s political stance, they often just don’t shop at the store. They also don’t set the company’s products on fire or threaten its customers.

No matter how much you might dislike Elon Musk – and he can be an abrasive guy at times with shocking language – you must give him credit for what he’s done for American ingenuity and business. He’s a pioneer in the electric vehicle field and started a company that sent up a rocket to save two stranded American astronauts.

If not for Musk, the astronauts could very well still be in space, which I guess wouldn’t bother Walz. Also, Minnesota’s state employees have about 1.6 million shares in Tesla stock in their retirement funds. So by reveling in Tesla’s falling stock, Walz is celebrating the loss of his state employees’ retirement.

As someone who grew up in the ’80s and ’90s, I remember the cordial relationship that existed between both conservatives and the Left. Both sides used to be willing to sit down with each other and have civil conversations.

However, the cordiality eroded at some point after the country’s brief unification post-9/11. I would love to see us unified again, but it’s obviously going to be very difficult. Yet it’s not impossible and should be the goal.

Getting back to the FBI, which is rightly going after the far-Left radicals torching Tesla vehicles and facilities. Unfortunately, during the Biden Administration, the FBI targeted Christians and conservatives, labeling them as terrorists, which all came to light because of brave FBI whistleblowers. For exposing the unlawful targeting of Christians and conservatives, the whistleblowers suffered the full wrath of the Deep State FBI, spurring the ACLJ to take action.

One of our whistleblower clients, FBI Special Agent Garret O’Boyle, has been suspended without pay since 2022 and barred from seeking employment elsewhere. He and his family had just moved across the country with a newborn child and found themselves homeless and without income.      

We have a new development in our case to defend O’Boyle. The ACLJ just filed a formal request to the FBI to reconsider the revocation of O’Boyle’s security clearance – an action we argue was a retaliatory measure against a protected whistleblower. The legal request presents a series of FBI abuses in targeting O’Boyle, a decorated Army veteran and former local law enforcement officer.

Our filing urges the FBI to immediately reinstate O’Boyle’s security clearance and restore his employment status. It is also calling on Congress and the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General to continue oversight into the misuse of the clearance process to punish whistleblowers.

We will not stop fighting to secure justice for our client, and we hope that the new FBI leadership will act promptly to clear O’Boyle’s name.
