In this lawsuit, we represent our friends Empower Oversight to force the FBI and DOJ to follow the law that the FOIA so clearly lays out. The subject of the FOIAs that Empower had sent pertains to whistleblower protections and the agencies’ selective, politically motivated leaking of whistleblower information (including that of our clients) to allies in Congress, to discredit whistleblower testimony that would be harmful for the agencies.
