Democrat HQ Violently Attacked by Anti-Israel Mob

Lawmakers at the DNC headquarters, including Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, had to evacuate after an anti-Israel protest became violent, resulting in multiple police officers being injured and one protester arrested.

As you know, numerous pro-Hamas demonstrations are occurring across the country. But this is the first one to endanger Members of Congress – Democrat lawmakers, I might add. This was not a demonstration of peaceful civil disobedience. It was a violent mob attack.

Axios gives more details:

The Capitol Police told congressional staff in an alert Wednesday night that they were “working to keep back approximately 150 people who are illegally and violently protesting.” . . .

One House Democrat who was present at the DNC told Axios it “scared me more than January 6,” recounting that they were about to leave and return to the Capitol when police told them not to exit.

So the protest was so violent that one Member of Congress was more scared than they had been on January 6, 2021. Keep in mind that these party headquarters are not nearly as secure as government buildings. The militant protesters tried to enter the headquarters illegally and intimidate congressional Democrats to put pressure on Israel for a cease-fire.

These violent pro-Hamas activists view anyone who supports Israel as the enemy – regardless of party affiliation. How will the mainstream media and Congress respond to public violent attacks on lawmakers?

Regardless, Democrat leadership is getting a small taste of the violence and fear that pro-life advocates have suffered at the hands of radical Leftists. I hope this terrible event last night wakes up Congress to put a stop to violent flash mobs in America. No one should have to be afraid of being assaulted for their political beliefs.

While antisemitic protests take place in America, the ACLJ continues to defend the families of the Israeli hostages. We might soon travel for multiple high-level meetings with the European Union, the Council of Europe, and the European Parliament. Most recently, we sent demand letters to the U.N. on behalf of the families.

We are disgusted by the anti-Israel protests taking place across America, especially on college campuses. But we also just witnessed a joyous celebration of our ally earlier this week at the March for Israel in Washington, D.C. Thousands gathered to show solidarity with Israel, as did numerous Members of Congress on both sides of the aisle. America needs more events like this.

The ACLJ’s efforts to preserve election integrity also continue. We recently had a major win in Michigan, where a judge dismissed the 14th Amendment lawsuit attempting to remove President Trump from the state’s primary ballot. This win comes on the heels of our victories in Oklahoma and Minnesota, ensuring the Left’s blatant election interference will be stopped in these states.

We also just had closing arguments in similar litigation in Colorado. We await to see what happens next, although I believe we’ll eventually head to the Supreme Court.

The ACLJ can’t work to bring the Israeli hostages home or win vital cases preserving election integrity without your help. We are in the middle of our Faith & Freedom Drive to fund our legal efforts. Donate today, and your gift will be doubled immediately.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast includes more analysis of the recent unbridled attack on DNC headquarters. We also gave updates on ongoing ACLJ cases.
