Following President Trump’s inauguration yesterday, there was a whirlwind of Executive orders that has already set the stage for what promises to be another battle with the far Left.

From border security to civil service reform, the Trump Administration is wasting no time in delivering on the promises that got him elected in the first place. Bu00t, as always, the radical Left is poised to fight tooth and nail against any policy that threatens their control over Washington’s bureaucratic machinery. The Left is already filing lawsuits, hoping to slow down the Trump agenda. President Trump’s legal team is prepared for the fight and thankfully they’re ready to defend the crucial actions to secure America’s future. And we’re ready to stand alongside them on key issues.

As the new Administration kicks off, one of the many focuses is securing the border and draining the swamp. Executive orders on these issues are already being challenged, particularly those targeting immigration and the fed bureaucracy. However, these challenges aren’t about policy; they’re about trying to stop President Trump’s Administration from delivering results. The ACLJ is ready to defend these actions. Meanwhile, the far Left is doing everything it can to derail progress, but our new President’s team is NOT backing down. The goal is clear: protect the American people and restore order to the government, regardless of how many lawsuits are thrown their way.

One of the most important reforms in the works is the overhaul of the civil service. Right now, federal employees can only be fired for criminal conduct, but President Trump’s new Executive order would allow the removal of those who willfully disregard presidential policies. It is exactly the kind of reform America needs to ensure that elected officials (rather than unelected bureaucrats) are calling the shots. These actions are necessary to make government work for the people. We are confident that these reforms will prevail and that President Trump is ready to honorably fight anyone who gets in his way.

There is one particularly absurd lawsuit – a challenge to the Department of Government Efficiency’s advisory panel otherwise known as DOGE. This lawsuit was filed just minutes after President Trump was sworn in, and it aims to block the panel from moving forward. This lawsuit is not only premature but it is a perfect example of the Left’s game plan. When they can’t win on policy, they turn to lawsuits and legal gamesmanship. It is the typical far-Left tactic of trying to disrupt necessary change by bogging the Administration down in endless litigation. Despite the Leftist legal challenges, the Trump team is more than ready to push forward with its mission.

While what is happening in Washington D.C. is a topic that begs to be analyzed, we also have an eye-opening update from Jerusalem, where the ACLJ’s Senior Counsel for International and Government Affairs Jeff Ballabon offers an insightful perspective on the ongoing relationship between the U.S. and Israel. In the midst of Israel’s own difficult circumstances, there’s a palpable sense of optimism about President Trump’s leadership and the future of peace in the Middle East.

Ballabon, currently in Jerusalem, describes the deep bond between the U.S. and Israel – one based not just on shared interests, but on shared values. Furthermore, the support for President Trump in Israel is undeniable as Ballabon recounts saying:

The shared relationship that Israel has with the United States really is a unique relationship. It’s very special . . . . It’s beyond merely just the interests – it’s values that are shared, a sense of community, one country with the other. Yesterday, walking up to a big event in Jerusalem, huge posters, huge billboards outside congratulating Donald Trump saying, ‘we love you.’ There's a real feeling of optimism going forward. While this process is difficult, there's a tremendous feeling that there's a new day with President Trump.

The sense of optimism in Israel is only amplified by the recent release of three Israeli hostages. This victory offers a mere glimpse of hope in a region that’s been marred by conflict for far too long. Ballabon’s words reflect the renewed hope many feel in Israel. The Abraham Accords, brokered by President Trump during his first term, are still seen as a beacon of possibility for a peaceful and prosperous future in the region.

Meanwhile, in the U.S. the Left’s obstruction efforts, specifically when President Trump’s Administration moves forward with plans to secure the border. The border is not controlled by state laws which only emphasizes the federal government’s constitutional authority over immigration. While states like California may attempt to block the President’s efforts we need to remember that the federal government has the legal authority to act decisively, especially in a time of national crisis.

The call to action is clear: Stand with the ACLJ and support President Trump’s mission to secure America’s future. Whether it’s through defending Executive orders in court or pushing back against the Left’s endless obstruction, the fight is far from over. The radical left will do everything in their power to stop America from being great again, but the American people have made it clear that we want results, not these far-Left radicals’ political games.

Join the fight today. Support the ACLJ’s efforts to defend President Trump and gain a brighter future for America. Sign our petition and make your voice heard. We’ve already seen what President Trump can do, and we’re just getting started.
