The President’s speech laid the foundation for his second term, promising to undo the damage caused by years of weak leadership and flawed policy decisions. His Administration, he pledged, would be one of bold action and unapologetic American pride.

One of the first orders of business for President Trump in his second term was addressing the crisis at the southern border. At the inauguration, he announced that he would declare a national emergency and take immediate steps to halt illegal immigration. His plan includes reinstating the “Remain in Mexico” policy, sending troops to the border, and designating cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.
