Rep. Tlaib Loses It in Fiery Rant

Notorious “Squad member” Rep. Rashida Tlaib is up to her old antisemitic tricks again. This time, the Congresswoman who once told the world she gets a “calming feeling” when she thinks about the Holocaust went on a profane rant against the U.S., the Trump Administration, and supporters of Israel at a pro-Palestinian rally in Detroit.

As reported on Fox News:

Democratic member of “the Squad,” Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., unleashed on the United States and pro-Israel politicians in a fiery, expletive-filled speech at the “People’s Conference for Palestine” in Detroit on Sunday.

Tlaib, who is the first person of Palestinian descent to be elected to Congress, railed against Israeli leaders and supporters of Israel, shouting, “I want to say to all of them, every genocide enabler, look at this room [expletive], we ain’t going anywhere.”

“They thought they could rape us, kill us, violently uproot us from our olive tree farms, starve our children to death, and we would disappear. Well, guess what, now we’re in Congress, and we’re in every corner of the United States,” she said, adding, “We are just getting started.”

That’s classy for a sitting Member of Congress. House Republicans have reportedly launched an effort to censure Tlaib for her latest hate-filled, antisemitic rant:

Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Ga., who introduced the measure, accused Tlaib of “vilifying her colleagues, endangering the lives of Jewish people, and celebrating terrorism.”

“Her conduct is beneath that of a civilized person, let alone a member of Congress. I am calling on the House of Representatives to censure her remarks and put Democrats on notice for enabling and cheering on antisemitism in their own party,” Carter told Fox News Digital.

This is nothing new for Rashida Tlaib. She has perpetuated the racist trope of Jewish control of everything from “behind the curtain.” Oh, and let’s not forget her antisemitic T-shirt that portrayed a world where Palestine has completely overtaken Israel, underscoring her common battle cry, “From the river to the sea.” By the way, Tlaib also took the opportunity to remind us she hates America, referring to Washington, D.C., in her speech as an “empire” and “the political structures that I have to work in, that we all are surrounded by, was built on slavery and genocide and rape and oppression.”

ACLJ Senior Counsel for International and Government Affairs Jeff Ballabon joined us live from Israel, where air raid sirens are still going off due to rocket attacks from Gaza, with his perspective as someone literally sitting in harm’s way:

The entire Palestinian collective is defined around every one of its foundational documents of its intention to commit genocide against the State of Israel and the Jewish people. That’s what “the river to the sea” means. It’s interesting that they're adopting language, inverting the truth. Others at that conference talked about how we, the normal people, Americans, worship death. We love death. But the truth is, for decades, until they realized it’s clever to invert it, they said the reason that they would win the Palestinian cause – Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, and others – is because they said openly that they love death, they worship death. . . .

Well, they’re being clever about how they’re inverting it, but what you really hear – and it’s hard for me to even believe such a person could be in Congress – the absolute hate that she has for America, the hate that she has for everything America stands for, and the room riling up – the energy in that room was so hostile and so profoundly anti-everything that America stands for.

It’s also important to remember that Hamas is a real threat to the security of America. The Palestinian Authority rewards terrorists for killing Americans just as it does for killing an Israeli. It is mind-boggling that someone who has defended such organizations is a sitting member of Congress.

Jeff reminded us why this issue is critical for America:

This is not just about Israel. It’s been clear from the beginning. America is the great Satan. Israel is the little Satan. The Jews, they despise – the Christians, they hate worse. And the truth is this is a war. Israel and the Jews are on the front lines of the war, but it is a cultural war, which has already come to America. [Tlaib is] right. They already are in Congress. They dominate the universities, and so it’s very hard for Americans. I’m an American. We grow up feeling we’re at peace, but the truth is the world has changed, and we are at war. They’re already waging war against us, and we have to stand up and see it for what it is.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast included more analysis of Rep. Tlaib’s inflammatory speech and the dangers that her rhetoric poses not only to Israelis but to Americans. We were also joined by U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Special Missions Ric Grenell to discuss a meeting over the weekend in Beijing between Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
