Yesterday, while appearing on Fox News, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that President Trump would provide a “series of announcements about other Democrats” who would soon support Trump’s campaign. Could this influx of Democrat voters shake up the election between Vice President Kamala Harris and President Donald Trump?

We witnessed quite a buildup to RFK Jr.’s endorsement of Trump last week. It will be interesting to see what other notable Democrat figures follow suit to make RFK Jr.’s prediction come true.

For starters, a Sekulow colleague just officially endorsed President Trump at an event in Detroit: former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard. As you remember, she ran for the White House in 2020 and effectively ended VP Harris’ 2020 presidential campaign.

Since then, Gabbard has left the Democrat Party and become an Independent – for which she’s suffered the Deep State’s wrath and has been unconstitutionally put on a terrorist watchlist, against which the ACLJ is defending her. In fact, she just got tagged with another Quad S designation while traveling. The Deep State’s targeting of Tulsi continues to waste an exorbitant amount of government resources.

There’s a good chance that Tulsi could even become a member of Trump’s campaign team. Reports are circulating that Trump tapped her to help prepare him for his debate against Kamala.

Of course, this is assuming the presidential debate happens on September 10. So far, Kamala has avoided any press conferences and interviews, and the media has graciously complied. Why would she do a debate and risk hurting her campaign?

The Democrats just came off a victorious DNC, where their narrative makes it sound like it’s inevitable that Harris will win the White House. However, the RFK Jr. news presents a stark contrast about the state of the Democrat party. It’s not all joy and sunshine over Harris’ far-Left policies.

RFK Jr. also made it clear that he will be “actively campaigning” for President Trump. He wants to make “America healthy again,” and Trump has a plan to bring healing to the nation. It looks like we’re about to hear a lot more about MAHA – Make America Healthy Again.

RFK Jr. (and potentially others like Tulsi) could do a good job of sharing Trump’s message to Democrat voters. Trump’s brash style might not appeal to non-traditional GOP voters, and voices like RFK Jr. could bridge the gap.

Meanwhile, the ACLJ is celebrating another recent victory for religious liberty. This particular case took less than a month to win, and we had an exceptional outcome.

A forklift operator for a major pet food company was denied a religious accommodation to attend church. He contacted the ACLJ, and we intervened by sending a demand letter to his company that explained how Title VII requires employers to provide a religious accommodation unless doing so creates an “undue hardship” on an employer.

ACLJ Senior Counsel CeCe Heil explained further:

The Supreme Court just recently stated that “undue hardship” (undue burden) to the employer exists only where the request substantially interferes with the operations of the employer and or results in excessive costs. It does not include temporary costs, voluntary shift swapping, occasional shift swapping, or administrative costs. So we absolutely sent off a letter, a demand letter, immediately telling the company that they had to do this accommodation for our client . . . to not be forced to violate his religious beliefs and practices by not going to church on Sunday.

Not only did we secure a religious accommodation on behalf of this employee, but the employee also got a raise. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Without you, we can’t defend notable figures like Tulsi or everyday American forklift operators. Every case the ACLJ takes on is pro bono, supported by our generous donors. We are in the final days of our Life & Liberty Drive. Gifts are doubled – donate today to support our vital work.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast included a full analysis of RFK Jr’s prediction that more Democrats will join Trump’s campaign. ACLJ Senior Counsel for International and Government Affairs Jeff Ballabon reacted to Israel foiling Hezbollah’s latest rocket attack.
