Melania Trump Breaks Her Silence
Listen tothis article
Former first lady Melania Trump broke her silence yesterday in her first interview in two years. She did not hold back on what it’s been like for her and her family to live through the past few months and she encouraged the country to unite.
Following the first assassination attempt on President Donald Trump’s life, Melania wrote an open letter to Americans calling for “love, compassion, kindness and empathy.” In her interview with Fox News host Ainsley Earhard, Melania recounted her experience after the assassination attempts, calling her husband’s survival a miracle. She also discussed the invasive raid of their home in Mar-a-Lago and calls out the “toxic atmosphere” fueled by mainstream media and leaders who oppose Trump.
Even after these heinous attacks, the Biden-Harris Administration’s Director of National Intelligence confirmed Iran’s threats on President Trump’s life are credible. Iran is still seething over the move that the Trump Administration made to take out an Iranian terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani. Yet the Biden-Harris Administration gave billions to Iran and now it poses a threat to our current candidates.
It doesn’t matter if the Secret Service is protecting a Republican, a Democrat, or an Independent – their job is to protect our leaders from all threats to the best of their abilities. But now we’re learning from this interim report on the first assassination attempt on President Trump just how bad things are inside the Secret Service.
Former U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard joined us with her take on the present threats:
We should not be surprised that Iran wants to take out President Trump. We should not be surprised that cartels who are trafficking in humans and in drugs across Kamala Harris’ open borders have a target on President Trump’s back. We should not be surprised that these powerful countries and entities and interests who are profiting off of and benefiting from the Harris-Biden Administration’s policies. They see President Trump as the greatest threat to their power, to their strength, and to their existence. . . .This is a reflection on them. Again, they put their interests and their power ahead of everything else.
President Trump’s record speaks for itself. Iran was drained of resources, and we weakened, unable to continue growing their nuclear weapon capability, unable to continue providing the kind of bolstered support to terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah that we’ve seen them do over these last four years. It’s no wonder they want to take him out because under Kamala Harris, they know that if she’s elected President, they will get richer, stronger; they will increase their ability to threaten Israel and the United States; and the world and they will continue to support terrorist organizations. That’s the world that we will live in under Kamala Harris.
Our colleague Tulsi Gabbard is no stranger to the weaponization of our bureaucracies. Of course, we’re working on her case, defending her and preparing a new FOIA lawsuit over the Biden-Harris Administration placing her on the “Quiet Skies” Terror watchlist. With an increase in these types of cases, it could scare Americans from getting involved as they face the possibility of being targeted for their beliefs.
We also had a major update this week in our defense of FBI whistleblowers, such as Special Agent Garret O’Boyle, who are shining a light on the Deep State’s corruption. The ACLJ was present at an important congressional hearing regarding whistleblower protections. This hearing was before the House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. Tristan Leavitt, president of Empower Oversight, joined us with insight from the hearing.
[I]t’s clear that the whole entire office was focused there on, you know, people that had views that were out of favor with the FBI. . . . When Marcus Allen was first referred to the FBI, its so-called insider threat office, that office came back and said that because he had hesitancy about the vaccine that made him a potential insider threat. . . . The inspector general himself highlighted this was a perfectly reasonable view for someone to express that. And yet that’s what the insider threat office at the FBI had labeled him a threat for.
At the ACLJ we are not afraid to talk about any topic and we talk about issues on both sides. But what we’ve seen is the FBI being weaponized against Christians and conservatives. The FBI should not be used as a check on our religious liberty. And as we continue to defend your religious liberty, we need you to keep us in these fights through your prayers, sharing our broadcast, and becoming an ACLJ Champion.
Today’s Sekulow broadcast included the ongoing credible threats to President Trump, the ACLJ’s case to defend FBI whistleblowers who are exposing Deep State corruption – and much more.
