Attorney General Pam Bondi Goes Off in Super Bowl Interview
Listen tothis article
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi didn’t hold back when she told Fox News that those leaking intel about upcoming ICE raids would be prosecuted:
If anyone leaks anything, people don’t understand that [it] jeopardizes the lives of our great men and women in law enforcement. And if you leaked it, we will find out who you are, and we will come after you. And it’s not going to stop our mission. It’s not going to stop the President’s mission to make America safe again. We were very clear with the lawsuit that we filed in Chicago that if you don’t follow the law, you will be prosecuted by the Department of Justice.
Bondi’s comments came on the heels of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem accusing the FBI of tipping off ICE deportation raids in Los Angeles.
Noem’s comments stemmed from the LA Times publishing an article on Friday that a “large-scale” ICE raid was headed to Los Angeles. This article – spurred by a leaked memo – angered Noem (and Bondi) because some recent ICE raids have failed because of leaks.
Such leaks – and Border Czar Tom Homan even referenced another leaked memo regarding the capture of Venezuelan gang members in Colorado – give violent criminal migrants ample time to flee or even arm themselves against law enforcement. Bondi is exactly right in the severity of these leaks: Lives are at risk.
And the leaks aren’t coming from low-level government operatives. The fact that DHS has one leak – or several leaks – proves that the Deep State is still entrenched in our government. This is a frightening truth that should alarm all U.S. citizens. The Deep State must be fully expunged to implement Trump’s promise to secure the border and deport the dangerous criminals who threaten national security.
Unfortunately, I’m not shocked by the Deep States leaks undermining Trump’s ICE raids. Even though a conservative White House is in place, the Deep State’s corruption runs deep.
To eradicate Deep State corruption, we need more brave whistleblowers willing to shine a light on bad actors. As you know, we are currently defending FBI whistleblowers who spoke out against the Deep State DOJ’s targeting of pro-life advocates and concerned school board parents.
For telling the truth, the FBI whistleblowers had their security clearances revoked and were suspended without pay. They were forbidden to find employment elsewhere and were trapped in a purgatory of being unable to provide for their families. We won on behalf of FBI Staff Operations Specialist Marcus Allen, but our fight for FBI Special Agent Garret O’Boyle is still ongoing.
The ACLJ currently has nearly 25 lawsuits against the Deep State. That’s why we need your support now. Become a monthly donor – an ACLJ Champion – to fund our fight to defeat the Deep State and protect our national security.
We also have a sobering update about Israel. Over the weekend, Hamas released three hostages, and their photos were heartbreaking. You could tell they had been tortured and starved while in captivity.
President Trump responded harshly to the hostages’ “emaciated” state – comparing them to “Holocaust survivors” – and said the U.S. could “lose . . . patience” with how long the release of hostages in the ceasefire is taking.
ACLJ Senior Counsel Cece Heil explained why Hamas can’t be trusted to uphold their end of the ceasefire.
Israel always is the one that makes the concessions. They’re always the one that tries to do what’s right. And just like President Trump said when Netanyahu was in town, We’ve tried something for 70 years, and it doesn’t work. And that’s because you’re trying to negotiate with a terrorist organization. . . . And now that Hamas has come out and made their statement that Oh, because Israel has violated the ceasefire agreement, we’re not going to release the Zionist prisoners that were scheduled for February 15. . . . And that once again is . . . spin because Hamas is the one that never honors their word.
Israel goes above and beyond, and then Hamas has been pushed into a corner. . . . They probably don’t have any more prisoners who are alive to be released, and that’s going to look bad on them, or they’re going to look even worse than these last three looked who were clearly tortured. . . . That’s who Hamas is, and that’s who [Israel’s] trying to negotiate with.
