The Week Where Conservatives Thwart the Left’s Bid to Undermine Elections
Last weekend, Iran elected a new president – Ebrahim Raisi. For the last two years, the U.S. has had an individual sanction against Raisi for his ties with Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Raisi is responsible for killing thousands of Iran’s citizens and some of the worst human rights abuses imaginable.
In spite of this move, the Biden Administration is still pressing forward with their attempt to reenter the disastrous Obama-Biden nuclear deal.

On June 6th, Sen. Manchin wrote an op-ed for why he was voting against S. 1. However, only 10 days later he released a list of provisions that would gain his support for the bill. Those provisions don’t scratch the surface of this bill and ultimately reflect a replica of S. 1 with the same intent of federalizing our elections.
ACLJ Senior Military Analyst Wes Smith:
Nothing is as consequential as what they are proposing in this ineptly named For the People Act. Nothing that major should be done on a party line vote. The filibuster is designed to address that very kind of thing and yet they are willing to do that. And to the Constitution itself, in my opinion, I have never seen a more dangerous and horrible piece of proposed legislation than this bill that is coming before the Senate.

Tuesday night, the sweeping voting rights bill known as the “For the People Act (H.R. 1 in the House and S. 1 in the Senate) was blocked in the Senate. The Left is starting to realize the radical shift that they aimed to accomplish with gaining a different makeup of Congress may not be as easy as they thought.
Since H.R. 1 failed miserably in the Senate, the Left is now focused on getting rid of the legislative filibuster. Our legal and Government Affairs teams are working hard to make sure H.R. 1/S. 1 is never signed into law and has a vigilant eye on any additional threats to the Constitution put forth by the radical Left's extreme agenda.

The total encounters at the southern border since President Biden took office have skyrocketed. The numbers don’t lie – there is a crisis at the border. Vice President Kamala Harris has been tapped to address this crisis.
Fast forward almost 100 days after Biden handed her this responsibility, and finally Vice President Harris has decided to visit the border. Americans are asking why now? And why El Paso?

When Vice President Harris was asked why today was suddenly the right time to make her first trip to the border, she got extremely defensive in her response:
It’s not my first trip, I’ve been to the border many times. . . . I said back in March I was going to come to the border, so this is not a new plan[...]"
VP Harris’ reluctance to commit in the past juxtaposed with President Trump’s announced visit next week have many Americans speculating whether Harris is simply playing “Follow the Leader."
