Disturbing and Shocking Moments at the DNC

The first night of the 2024 Democrat National Convention in Chicago featured several disturbing moments: AOC’s screaming at the crowd, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s bemoaning her 2016 election loss, President Joe Biden’s speech that finally happened long after most Americans went to sleep, the shocking pro-abortion display on stage, the thousands of pro-Hamas protestors outside, and much more.

Supposedly, the 2024 DNC is going to be about joy. That’s been the alleged tone of the Harris-Walz campaign thus far. However, the speakers last night were all angry. The night contained intense rhetoric and screaming from the folks on stage. It sure didn’t seem like joy to me.

For example, where was the joy in Hillary Clinton’s speech? She highlighted President Trump’s 34 felony convictions that sparked a “lock him up” chant, during which Clinton sported what I can only describe as a creepy smile. Of course, Trump never took any such legal action against Clinton for her mishandling of classified emails. Nonetheless, Clinton didn’t emanate much joy last night.

Also, Mallory McMorrow, a state senator from Michigan, warned the crowd that President Trump would weaponize the government against his political opponents and their supporters. Of course, we all know that, in fact, the Biden-Harris Administration has weaponized the FBI and DOJ to levels we’ve never seen before, going after Christians, concerned school parents, former DNC figures like Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, whistleblowers, and most notably, a former President. The ACLJ has taken legal action in each one of these Deep State attacks on conservatives.

The DNC’s opening night certainly didn’t convey the “hope” from the 2008 Obama presidential campaign that the far Left has attempted to recapture for Harris’ campaign. If you recall that 2008 convention, the tone and emotions completely differed from the RNC that nominated John McCain. The 2008 DNC wasn’t all demonization and unhinged yelling – however, that’s what we saw last night.

Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell reacted to the anger and rhetoric from last night:

Right out of the gate, it was far-Left woke. I mean, they even had the governor of Kentucky [Gov. Andy Beshear] – who’s supposed to be a moderate – completely going crazy-Left woke. I think the reality is that even when conservatives or moderates get in front of this Democrat crowd, the far-Left, radical, communist fascists in that room completely overtake people. They can’t speak truth to power. Politicians like Gov. Beshear showed up and immediately knelt to the far Left. And this is what’s scary to me: When you look at tampons in boys’ bathrooms and the inability to say that a woman is a woman, then trying to cut red meat because it’s bad for climate change, and the open border. Just look at the Democratic Party of today, and it’s scary. It doesn’t have any common sense, and it’s chasing moderates right out of the party.

And so far, it’s also been the abortion convention. Outside the DNC is a mobile bus sponsored by Planned Parenthood that offers free vasectomies and abortions. Further, a sickening celebration of abortion took place on stage last night that utilized misinformation to scare voters into voting for Harris.

For example, the testimonies from the three women on stage last night distorted the truth to play on viewers’ emotions. True, the women all endured horrific experiences, but they didn’t tell the truth about state laws or the Republican Party’s platform regarding abortion.

It’s shameful for the DNC to use these women as pawns to promote misinformation in primetime on the first night of the convention. Clearly, the DNC believes abortion is the key issue that will propel them to victory. And it will stop at nothing to promote the “abortion distortion” and get voters on their side.

The abundance of pro-abortion lies last night segues perfectly with the mass counter-campaign that the ACLJ is launching in the state of Massachusetts in conjunction with its lawsuit against the state of Massachusetts.
