Pam Bondi, President Donald Trump’s trailblazing pick for U.S. Attorney General, is a force to be reckoned with. Humble Beginnings

Born on November 17, 1965, in Temple Terrace, Florida, Pamela Jo Bondi grew up in a suburban community just outside the city. Her father, Joseph Bondi, served as Temple Terrace’s mayor and a member of its city council, while her mother, Patsy Bondi, worked as an educator. From an early age, Pam was introduced to the values of public service and hard work that would shape her career ambitions.

Legal Career Launched

Bondi attended the University of Florida, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice. She later obtained a Juris Doctor at Stetson University College of Law.

Her legal career began at the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office, where she served as a prosecutor and spokeswoman for 18 years. Bondi quickly earned a reputation for her dedication, fairness, and ability to handle and try high-stakes cases, from drug trafficking to first-degree murder.

Breaking Barriers as Attorney General

In 2010, Bondi ran for Florida Attorney General on a platform of conservative values, emphasizing her commitment to law and order, protecting vulnerable populations, and holding powerful entities accountable. Bondi notably received the support of former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin.

Bondi’s victory made her the first woman to serve as Florida’s Attorney General, a role she held for two terms. Bondi’s tenure as Attorney General was marked by her bold leadership on several critical issues, including combating the opioid crisis, fighting human trafficking, and consumer protection.

The National Stage

Bondi’s expertise and strong conservative values propelled her onto the national stage. During President Trump’s first impeachment trial, she served as a key member of his legal defense team, earning praise for her articulate and effective arguments. Her calm and confident demeanor under pressure solidified her role as a trusted adviser and legal advocate. Her role, alongside legal heavyweights like Pat Cipollone and ACLJ Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow, helped craft a strong, unified defense against what many saw as a politically motivated impeachment.

A Conservative Who Won’t Back Down

In a tense exchange with Senator Adam Schiff (CA), someone the ACLJ is very familiar with, during her recent Senate confirmation hearing, Bondi stood her ground when asked if she would investigate former U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney (WY). “Senator, no one asked me to investigate Liz Cheney. This is a hypothetical,” she replied.

Turning the tables, she pointed to California’s soaring crime rates. When Schiff asked if she would have the ability to say no to President Trump, Bondi shot back effortlessly, “I’m not going to mislead this body or you. You were censured by Congress, Senator, for comments just like this that are so reckless.”

There is no one better to work on restoring the nation’s confidence in the DOJ and FBI. Lawfare and the weaponization of our legal systems will be history. Even if we didn’t have those hugely important problems to solve, Pam is the best pick because she has all of the experience/qualities needed to run the DOJ, focus on the bad guys, and rebuild the culture of the department. I can keep going, but remember, a “U.S. AG” Bondi will get the FBI back on track (and even then, keeping eyes on them like an eagle). Finally, for now, and it goes without saying, she’s an outstanding attorney. Bondi’s exceptional combination of experience and unyielding dedication to the rule of law makes her the ideal choice to lead the Department of Justice into the new era.
