Radio Recap: More States Introduce Extreme Abortion Bills
Last week New York Governor Andrew Cuomo ordered a celebration of the state’s barbaric new abortion law, lighting up the spire of Freedom Tower pink – a building which stands over the 9/11 Memorial dedicated to every victim of the vicious terrorist attack, including 11 unborn babies.
Today on the broadcast we discussed how more states are considering extreme pro-abortion legislation. There are aggressive moves all across the country to expand late-term abortion across the country.
Alaska, Colorado, New Mexico, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Vermont, the District of Colombia, and now New York have no gestational limits on abortion, meaning a woman can abort a baby at any point up until the moment of birth.
New York doesn’t even require a doctor to perform the abortion.
Rhode Island, Virginia, New Mexico, and Vermont have new extreme abortion legislation pending right now. Rhode Island has a pro-life statement already on the books declaring life begins at conception, but pending legislation seeks to remove that, thereby repealing the personhood of unborn babies.
Meanwhile in New Jersey – a state that has no limit on when you can have an abortion – a newly introduced bill would make it illegal to kill pregnant livestock, after a pregnant cow jumped off a trailer headed for the slaughterhouse.
Apparently, these New Jersey lawmakers are more concerned about unborn cattle than they are about human babies.
We also told you about a case in Louisiana that may be fast-tracked to the Supreme Court where abortion doctors are challenging a pro-life law.
The state of Louisiana requires abortion providers have certain hospital admitting privileges. Abortionists are calling it unconstitutional. The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals held these pro-life requirements are indeed constitutional, but abortionists are now challenging it. The legislation is currently sitting on Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s desk for review.
