Signal Leak Hearing Gets Heated

The far Left refused to let go of the national security leak in a House Intelligence Committee hearing that took place today on Capitol Hill. To make matters worse, The Atlantic published the text messages of the Trump Administration’s “war plans” that were shared in the Signal text thread with several Cabinet members.

Here is one of the text messages that The Atlantic published:

TEAM UPDATE: TIME NOW (1144et): Weather is FAVORABLE. Just CONFIRMED w/CENTCOM we are a GO for mission launch. 1215et: F-18s LAUNCH (1st strike package). 1345: ‘Trigger Based’ F-18 1st Strike Window Starts (Target Terrorist is @ his Known Location so SHOULD BE ON TIME – also, Strike Drones Launch (MQ-9s)

Again, just how big of a scandal is this? As I said yesterday, the security leak must be addressed and not happen again. However, the far Left will replay the narrative on a loop just to attack the Trump Administration.

VP Vance claims the scandal has been blown out of proportion and that Goldberg “oversold” the importance of the intel shared. Further, our former Sekulow colleague Tulsi had a good answer during today’s congressional meeting:

It was a mistake that a reporter was inadvertently added to a Signal chat with high-level national security principals having a policy discussion about imminent strikes against the Houthis and the effects of the strike. The National Security Advisor has taken full responsibility for this, and the National Security Council is conducting an in-depth review along with technical experts working to determine how this reporter was inadvertently added to this chat. The conversation was candid and sensitive, but as the President’s National Security Advisor stated, no classified information was shared. There were no sources, methods, locations, or war plans that were shared. This was a standard update to the National Security Cabinet that was provided alongside updates that were given to foreign partners in the region.

I hope that Tulsi’s statement puts this issue to bed. She correctly shared the message that the Administration will launch a full investigation to determine how a journalist was included in a text thread and that the blunder will never happen again.

And for sure, there’s a difference between an unforced error like the Signal leak and all the inexcusable leaks that the far Left leaked during the first Trump Administration. Why was former FBI Director James Comey never held accountable for leaking FBI documents to the press?

If a leaked text message will upset the far Left, imagine its reaction to the news of President Trump planning to pause millions in funding for Planned Parenthood. Trump clearly doesn’t care what lobbyists and cronies in D.C. think. He’s going to deliver on his campaign promises.

Planned Parenthood is throwing a fit. Alexis McGill Johnson, the President of the abortion giant, responded: “The Trump-Vance-Musk administration wants to shut down Planned Parenthood health centers by any means necessary, and they’ll end people’s access to birth control, cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, and more to do it.” So again, the lie is that Trump is cutting funding for everything else but killing babies.

But we know the sordid truth about how Planned Parenthood uses taxpayer funds. That’s why the ACLJ is actively fighting to defund Planned Parenthood at the U.S. Supreme Court.

Planned Parenthood was caught selling the body parts of aborted babies, and several states responded by defunding the abortion giant. This became a direct threat to the abortion giant’s diabolical business model of killing babies, flooding the courts with pro-abortion lawsuits, and taking our tax dollars to pad its exorbitant record profits.
