FBI Director Kash Patel Opens “Conspiracy” Probe

FBI Director Kash Patel launched a “grand conspiracy” investigation into the weaponization of the government during the past three U.S. presidential elections. What all will the DOJ’s catch-all investigation – extending back to 2016 – uncover?

Last week, we discussed how CIA Director John Ratcliffe declassified documents following a “tradecraft review” of the 2016 election. The investigation found that former FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan possibly lied to Congress about their knowledge of the Russian hoax.

We noted that much of the alleged criminal activity likely fell outside the statutes of limitations. At the same time, the investigation pointed to the fact that Comey and Brennan’s behavior was part of a larger conspiracy to take down President Trump by former and current Deep State actors.

So in theory, the FBI’s probe could uncover the proverbial smoking gun linking all these events to an ongoing conspiracy, thereby opening the door for such evidence to be presented before a grand jury. Such a move could compel the DOJ to move forward with a prosecution.

Restoring trust and transparency to the FBI was one of Trump’s big campaign promises. However, such an FBI probe going all the way back to 2016 will take time. You can’t fully investigate a Deep State election “grand conspiracy” overnight. So it will take time.

Meanwhile, the ACLJ has big news in its fight against Planned Parenthood. As you know, the “Big Beautiful Bill” delivered a massive blow to the abortion giant – stripping $500 million in Medicaid payments. However, a judge has withdrawn and reissued a temporary restraining order (TRO) in a legal shell game to continue giving Planned Parenthood $2 million a day in taxpayer funding. The ACLJ just filed a vital amicus brief in federal district court to fight back.

ACLJ Senior Counsel CeCe Heil gave an update explaining how what we are witnessing here is abortion distortion at its finest:

On July 18, there is a hearing on a preliminary injunction, which, of course, is the actual case that’s going to decide whether [the defunding] can go forward or not, and the temporary restraining order is something that just temporarily enjoins it. So we will, on the 18th, have a hearing, and we will be watching that [later] this month. . . . The TRO expires on the 21st, so the judge has to give her opinion by the 21st, and we will be watching. I’m sure if she doesn’t rule correctly, the government will appeal, and the ACLJ will be there.

At the same time, Planned Parenthood is arguing that it should keep its federal funding, making four shocking demands:

  • It wants to override Congress’s explicit decision not to fund its killing machine.
  • It wants to force hardworking taxpayers to subsidize its abortion empire.
  • It wants to destroy the constitutional separation of powers by having activist judges control government spending.
  • It wants to shred the Constitution to get its hands on your tax dollars.

We must now allow the abortion industry to win. Our biggest fight ever to defund Planned Parenthood is moving at a lightning-fast pace. It could even go all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
