On Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, Attorney General Pam Bondi publicly warned Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) “to tread very carefully” in calling for attacks against Elon Musk. We told you about Tesla dealerships and cars being torched across the country and the FBI announced that it will start to investigate “domestic terrorism” involving Tesla products. #TeslaTakedown’s “Global Day of Action” is planned for March 29, so who knows what violence will occur.

Bondi was referring to Crockett’s radical birthday wish that she announced while on a #TeslaTakedown virtual rally: “All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.”

Though Crockett later attempted to clarify her rhetoric, Bondi was adamant in warning the far-Left Congresswoman: “She is an elected public official, so she needs to tread very carefully, because nothing will happen to Elon Musk, and we are going to fight to protect all the Tesla owners throughout this country.”

Last Thursday, the Office of Public Affairs sent out a memo after three defendants were arrested for throwing Molotov cocktails at Tesla charging stations and vehicles:

“The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. “Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”

  • One defendant, also armed with a suppressed AR-15 rifle, was arrested after throwing approximately eight Molotov cocktails at a Tesla dealership located in Salem, Oregon.
  • Another was arrested in Loveland, Colorado after attempting to light Teslas on fire with Molotov cocktails. The defendant was later found in possession of materials used to produce additional incendiary weapons.
  • In Charleston, South Carolina, a third defendant wrote profane messages against President Trump around Tesla charging stations before lighting the charging stations on fire with Molotov cocktails.
  • Each defendant faces serious charges carrying a minimum penalty of five years and up to 20 years in prison.

The Department of Justice is committed to ending all acts of violence and arson directed at Tesla properties and otherwise.

Bondi’s comments about Crockett’s disgusting birthday wish shouldn’t surprise anyone. We just witnessed two assassination attempts on President Trump last year. And multiple times during the 2024 presidential election, the far Left compared Trump to Hitler and conservatives to Nazis. Clearly, violent rhetoric and demonization are encouraging people to commit awful acts against political enemies.

And Crockett is the only Member of Congress advocating for attacks against political opponents. Senator Chuck Schumer warned the U.S. Supreme Court about “reaping the whirlwind” after Roe was overturned. And what happened after Schumer’s disgusting threat? Someone tried to assassinate three Justices.

When will the far Left learn? It must tone down the violent rhetoric before someone gets killed. And, of course, I must point out the hypocrisy of the Biden Administration, which labeled pro-life advocates as “terrorists.” So it’s refreshing to know that the current DOJ can identify true threats.

In other news, the ACLJ has an ongoing religious liberty case in California. Church on the Beach has been holding worship services on Redondo Beach with proper permits from Los Angeles County for 18 years. Approximately 120 people gather every Sunday morning to worship. The beach location isn’t merely a preference – it’s an intentional strategy to reach those who might never walk through the doors of a church building.

Recently, Los Angeles County abruptly changed its policy, informing the church’s pastor that the Department of Beaches and Harbors would no longer issue yearly permits for religious activities. Instead, the County implemented a new discriminatory policy limiting “grandfathered” religious groups to just six activities per year. It is also arguing that the church must meet inside a building instead of the beach.

The Constitution clearly protects Church on the Beach’s right to public worship. The ACLJ sent a legal demand letter to remind Los Angeles County of the church’s constitutional rights. It must respond to our demand letter this week, or we will take further legal action.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast included a full analysis of Attorney General Pam Bondi starkly ordering Rep. Jasmine Crockett to tone down calling for violence against Elon Musk and Tesla owners.
