House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (OH-4) has subpoenaed Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis over her alleged improper relationship with Nathan Wade, the lead prosecutor in President Trump’s Georgia election interference case.

The New York Post reports on the potential prosecutorial misconduct:

Willis, an elected Democrat in Fulton County, refused to voluntarily share records about her relationship with Nathan Wade, citing “well-recognized confidentiality interests related to an ongoing criminal matter.”

Willis and Wade have not denied having an affair, which was first alleged in court papers on Jan. 8 by Trump co-defendant Michael Roman, who said Willis had a glaring conflict of interest in the case.

Willis’ office has paid Wade, a private-practice attorney, $654,000 in legal fees since January 2022, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

The subpoena — unlike prior voluntary requests for records — does not specifically seek documents about Wade, but is written expansively enough to encompass possible documents about the affair.

The subpoena also requests all information related to the alleged misuse of federal funds by Willis’ legal team. Willis’s office had received millions in grants to start community programs.

Yet a whistleblower accused Willis of using the federal funds to buy iPads/computers and questioned whether Wade (brought in for an eyebrow-raising $654,000) was paid with federal funds and then used them for “lavish vacations” with Willis. The whistleblower was then fired and “escorted out of her office by seven armed investigators.”

Clearly, the Fulton County legal team has been tainted by the ongoing firestorm. State and federal authorities should begin looking into Willis’ misconduct and possible removal. If she were to be removed, a new prosecutor could be assigned to the case – or it could be dismissed altogether.

Senator Roger Marshall (KS) joined me in the studio to discuss several issues. The Senator, a former OBGYN who delivered thousands of babies, touched on his experience of helping women suffering from abortion complications:

I . . . never did an abortion, never gave abortion pills, but I had to take care of the people with the complications from it. . . . And this Administration . . . is just pushing out this abortion pill like candy. But it has huge potential side effects, including the potential for fetal malformations.

Senator Marshall also condemned the Left’s pro-Hamas support and explained why he backs Israel:

For me, this is a spiritual and a personal issue. . . . As early as I can remember, we were taught in Sunday school to support Israel. My mom and dad taught me to support Israel. We were raised on Judeo-Christian values. That’s what this nation was founded upon. It was the first primer for the Founding Fathers.

Senator Marshall then blamed President Biden’s weakness for Iran’s recent attack:

We have to respond in a way that Iran respects. So Joe Biden has given us war through weakness. An old physician told me [that] once a doctor loses their reputation, they never get it back. Joe Biden’s lost his reputation. The enemies don’t respect him, let alone fear him. . . . Remember what President Reagan did in 1988. In response to a similar action, he bombed the heck out of their oil platform and sunk three of their warships. We need to do something like that militarily.

Senator Marshall then spoke about the number of lives lost to fentanyl because of an open border:

I don’t know how our President sleeps at night knowing that 300 Americans died today from fentanyl poisoning – 100,000 last year. Every year, we lose more young Americans to fentanyl poisoning than we did all of Vietnam. But yet our President and our DHS Secretary [are] unwilling to secure the border. . . . John Adams, the second President of the U.S., said that the Constitution was written for a moral and religious people. And I would contend if we don’t have respect for the law, that’s the true threat to democracy. And this President has created . . . an entire culture of lawlessness, and it all started there at the southern border.

Finally, here’s an update on the ACLJ’s case at the U.S. Supreme Court to defend your right to vote for the candidate of your choice. We will file our next brief by Monday, and oral argument will take place shortly thereafter. This is the biggest case in the ACLJ’s history and could affect election integrity for generations.

We are launching a special Matching Moment to fund our vital fight at the U.S. Supreme Court. Any gift you donate will be doubled. Please give today to help us save our democratic republic.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast provided a full analysis of Rep. Jim Jordan’s subpoena of DA Fani Willis. We also discussed the State Department’s announcement of the Biden Administration’s possibly betraying Israel and recognizing the statehood of “Palestine.”
