ACLJ Puts CA Governor Newsom on Legal Notice and New Evidence Emerges on FBI Deep State Operatives

The ACLJ has just taken action today to put California’s extreme abortion supporting Governor Gavin Newsom on notice for a disgusting new bill he’s likely about to sign.

ACLJ Senior Counsel CeCe Heil joined me on the air to give an update on new California abortion legislation which includes the language “perinatal” CeCe explained:

So we’re talking about California legislation AB 2223, and it’s the abortion legislation that included the perinatal language [...]

We’ve been reporting on this ghoulish bill from its inception and, as we’ve warned you before, this bill could legalize infanticide up to 28 days after the baby is born (the perinatal period).

Now the California legislature just passed the vile legislation late into the night. We got notice from the legislature after 2 AM ET (11 pm PT). Now it heads to Governor Newsom to be signed into law.  If he does, it could allow instances of infanticide, actually preventing any kind of investigation where a newborn baby dies.

Using the term “perinatal” – which is not the same as “prenatal” (before birth) – is clearly intentional. Perinatal sounds like prenatal but it’s different. Prenatal refers to a baby in the womb. Perinatal can refer to a baby up to a month after birth. It’s outrageous.

In addition, we just sent a legal letter this afternoon directly to Governor Newsom’s office laying out exactly why the bill is depraved and deceptive and urging him not to sign it. As ACLJ Policy Director Harry Hutchison pointed out, this legislation could have far-reaching consequences beyond California.

Additionally, as you know, the ACLJ just sent out a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to Biden’s FBI to demand information regarding election interferenceby the FBI in suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story shortly before the 2020 election, which was recently revealed by Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg. Since then, we learned about the special agent at the FBI who was running the FBI’s Washington D.C. field office and just conveniently “retired” after Sen. Chuck Grassley revealed a number of FBI whistleblowers have recently come forward to complain about corruption and political bias within the agency.

Among the many revelations of late, it’s been reported that this agent, Timothy Thibault, was running interference on the Hunter Biden laptop investigation. Sen. Grassley specifically called out Thibault by name.

We have now amended our FOIA to include this latest news regarding FBI Agent Thibault’s curious retirement and his alleged political bias which was reflected in his work at the Bureau, especially regarding the Hunter Biden investigation. 

It is now clear that Agent Thibault harbored deep anti-Trump feelings. Though he has since deleted it, it was reported that Thibault retweeted a story originally posted by the anti-Trump organization The Lincoln Project which called President Trump “a psychologically broken, embittered, and deeply unhappy man.” According to the same report, Thibault also liked a piece from the Washington Post entitled “William Barr Has Gone Rogue.” And called former Vice President Dick Cheney a “disgrace.” This is a man with a clear political bias and he allowed it to seep into his work, twisting the scales of justice.

There are polls saying some 80% of Americans believe we need to know what is on that laptop. But this FBI Agent Thibault willfully covered for Hunter Biden, even trying to physically close out the file on the infamous laptop investigation. Many believe there may be information within that computer that, had it been revealed beforehand, would have influenced voters when they went to the polls for the 2020 presidential election.

As ACLJ Policy Director Harry Hutchison explained, this agent is just the latest in a long string of corrupt, Deep State actors being rooted out at the Biden FBI, and the American people are sick of it:

Mr. Thibault alleged misconduct raises a question, a fundamental question, which history answers in the affirmative. Has the Justice Department, has the FBI, been institutionally corrupted to its very core, to the point where neither Congress nor the American people can trust the FBI, can trust the DOJ? And I think virtually every single American who’s rational believes neither institution is worthy of our trust. And I think this will have consequences long-term for the country.

Harry is correct. I truly don’t know how any of us are expected to trust the FBI anymore?
