Each fold has a sacred meaning, including references to God and our religious heritage. In an age of war, where our brave military men and women have been asked to pay the ultimate sacrifice, it comes as a stinging slap in the face to grieving families and the memory of our heroes to have this honor revoked by a heckling few. In a time of war, our courageous soldiers, grieving families, and time-honored military traditions should never fall into question or debate. I respectfully request that military funerals be given the utmost protection by our Commander-in-Chief.
