Committee to Oppose Broadcast Vulgarity
The airwaves are a public trust, and the government has a responsibility to protect children from being exposed to vulgar language and images broadcast over those airwaves. We respectfully call upon the Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States to rule in favor of the Federal Communications Commission's policy of holding broadcasters accountable for vulgar language broadcast during prime time, when children are likely to be watching television.
