President Biden, who campaigned on the message of stability and unity, is now talking down to reporters after being asked a few tough questions. The walls are caving in on this Administration and President Biden is starting to feel the pressure of failing. In a recent example, the United States is potentially sending 8,500 troops to get involved in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Yet, we have our own conflict at our southern border with a surge of illegal immigrants overwhelming border patrol.

On President Biden’s first day of office, he laid out how he wanted his staff to treat each other under his watch:

If you are working for me and I ever hear you treat another colleague with disrespect, talk down to someone, I promise you I will fire you on the spot. On the spot. No ifs, ands, or buts. Everybody . . . everybody is entitled to be treated with decency and dignity. That’s been missing in a big way the last four years.

Except, it doesn’t matter when it comes to Fox News or other reporters. Fox News’ White House Correspondent Peter Doocy asked President Biden about inflation and its effect on the midterms and the President fired back:

That’s a great asset, more inflation. What a stupid son of a [expletive].

It’s not the first time President Biden has belittled a reporter either. When Fox News Reporter Jacqui Heinrich asked the President why he is waiting on Putin to make the first move, he said:

What a stupid question.

That wasn’t a stupid question. It was a question that the American people wanted to have answered. Instead, President Biden used his time to speak down to a reporter when he told his own staff that they would be fired if they treated someone like that.

The pile-on is not just from conservative media. The walls are closing in both from the Right, the Left, and mainstream media. NBC anchor Chuck Todd even commented on President Biden’s likability dwindling:

President Biden’s news conference on Wednesday was designed to kick off a second year reset of his presidency, recapture his political identity, if you will, but our new NBC News poll suggests Mr. Biden does need a reset because he’s lost his identity a bit. . . . He is no longer seen as competent and effective, no longer seen as a good Commander-in-Chief, or perhaps most damaging, as easy-going and likable. In fact, just 5% of adults say Mr. Biden has performed better than expected as President, one of the many lowest, firsts, and fewest in our poll.

Elections have consequences and we are seeing it firsthand under a new Administration. ACLJ Senior Military Analyst Wes Smith outlined President Biden’s first-year failures in his new article. He added how the President’s actions come off to the American people:

Last week at the disastrous news conference, when a reporter asked him about his approval rating in the Quinnipiac poll, which is a respected poll, Biden’s response very glibly was, “I don’t believe that poll.” It came off as dismissive of the question and the reporter. And what it really came off as is dismissive of the concerns of the American people. The people that are suffering at the gas pump and grocery store. People that are concerned at the southern border. When the President is glib about it and makes smart comments back at the reporter, the people in America feel like they are being dismissed too.

The American people do feel dismissed. On the southern border, the number of illegal crossings have doubled, incredible amounts of drugs are entering our country, not to mention the upswell of human trafficking of minors occurring. To make matters worse, the Transportation Security Administration is now allowing undocumented immigrants to use their arrest warrants as identification to board airplanes and travel anywhere in the country.

So, President Biden isn’t doing anything about our own border, but he is willing to send troops to protect Ukraine’s border? Well, the ACLJ is doing something about it. We have filed three Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) requests to demand answers on why this Administration is not fighting the dangers at our own border. You can see them here, here, and here.
