Their lawsuit is a direct response to Missouri’s pro-life “trigger law,” enacted after Dobbs, which protects unborn children by prohibiting nearly all abortions. Instead of complying with the same medical safeguards required of any other healthcare provider. Planned Parenthood is now demanding an exemption from laws that ensure:

• clean and sterile instruments
• safe and sanitary facilities
• the ability to treat patients in emergency situations and transfer them to hospitals
• in-person medical oversight when dispensing dangerous chemical abortion drugs
