5 Disgusting Pro-Abortion Rants That Will Shock You
Listen tothis article
At the ACLJ, we celebrate life. But unborn babies are under withering attack from the radical Left, especially with the overturning of Roe. The battle for life rages on at the federal level as we battle to defund Planned Parenthood, and at the state level as the abortion industry seeks to eradicate the pro-life movement and expand abortion. For example, our legal team has boots on the ground in Missouri right now to fight Planned Parenthood’s attempts to overturn pro-life legislation.
To give you a sense of just how vile the abortion industry truly is, we are rereleasing our list of five times that pro-abortion activists went too far:
- “I think if you're going to terminate a pregnancy, it should be done sometime before the fetus becomes Governor of Alabama.” – Jim Carrey
Carrey, star of ’90s comedies like The Mask and Dumb and Dumber, has garnered attention with his often grotesque and politically motivated illustrations.
In this post (since deleted) from May 2019, Carrey depicts a horrific “suction aspiration” abortion being performed on Alabama Governor Kay Ivey.
Carrey’s painting was met mostly with disgust and disapproval. But it proved two points: Carrey knows full well the grisly details of this abhorrent abortion procedure, and that unborn babies are, in fact, human lives.
- “Before Roe v. Wade, thousands of women died every year — and because of extreme attacks on safe, legal abortion care, this could happen again right here in America.” – Leana Wen
In 2019, Leana Wen, former president of Planned Parenthood, claimed that thousands of women died every year before Roe v. Wade because of “extreme attacks on safe, legal abortion care.” We detailed this lie in a blog and how it earned Wen the maximum lying score of four Pinocchios from the Washington Post.
Wen at a pro-abortion news conference with Sen. Richard Blumenthal (CT) in May 2019Less than three months later, Planned Parenthood fired Wen. Perhaps channeling Jim Carrey’s character in Liar, Liar, a movie about a pathological liar forced to tell the truth for one day, Wen seemed to grow a conscience by posting a stunningly honest letter to her colleagues in response to her ousting.
Wen’s letter gave troubling insight into the direction Planned Parenthood’s leadership continues to move the abortion giant. In the letter, Wen admitted, “The new Board leadership has determined that the priority of Planned Parenthood moving forward is to double down on abortion rights advocacy.”
Wen’s message remains prescient even in 2024, and the ACLJ is engaged in a 50-state battle to defund Planned Parenthood.
- “We need a [D]isney princess who's had an abortion[.] We need a [D]isney princess who's pro-choice[.]” – Planned Parenthood Keystone
This Planned Parenthood post was deleted shortly after its release. Luckily, several X users and news sources saw the shocking post with its complete lack of tact and took screenshots before it was scrubbed off X.
The ACLJ responded to this post, stating in an article:
The suggestion of a Disney princess – [a character] traditionally meant to entertain and inspire young children – who has had an abortion is absolutely sickening. It is the epitome of propaganda and indoctrination.
Clearly, Planned Parenthood was targeting kids with a message normalizing and celebrating the killing of unborn babies. Sick.
- “We've partnered with @WhatstheScoopdx by offering ice cream pints for sale for a limited time only, including a new custom flavor made exclusively for NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon: Rocky Roe v. Wade! Order yours now & help defend reproductive freedom!” – NARAL Pro-Choice OR
That’s right: NARAL Pro-Choice OR pushed its startlingly depraved narrative by teaming up with an Oregon-based ice cream company to introduce a pro-abortion ICE CREAM FLAVOR.
You can’t make this stuff up.
The goal was to support killing innocent babies by enjoying a scoop of ice cream, a favorite treat for children across the country. The abortion industry’s brazenness to propagandize our youth with pro-abortion messaging is undeniable. Thankfully, Rocky Roe went the way of Roe v. Wade.
- “No. You know fetuses can’t scream, right? I transect the cord 1st so there’s really no opportunity, if they’re even far enough along to have a larynx. I won’t apologize for performing medicine. I’m also a ‘uterus ripper outer,’ if that’s how you’d like to describe hysterectomy.” – Leah Torres, MD
Abortionist Leah Torres took to X in March 2018 to crassly claim that unborn children can’t scream when they are aborted.
Bragging about cutting vocal cords first so fetuses cannot scream as she rips them apart is downright wicked.
Torres remains active on X and other platforms with the stated goal of educating “young adolescents” about “safe sexual health practices” – this should send shivers down your spine.
These are just a handful of the times that pro-abortion activists went too far. Did you ever think you’d see an abortion push inside an ice cream ad? Such propaganda proves the depravity of the abortion industry.
