Two Christian brothers have been sentenced to death in Pakistan for their faith.
Amoon and Qaisar Ayub were falsely accused of “blasphemy” – framed for supposedly posting disparaging comments against the Prophet Muhammad online.
The insidious abuse of Pakistan’s blasphemy laws to persecute Christians is rampant in Pakistan. There was no evidence that our affiliate’s client or his older brother did anything they were accused of doing. Yet their conviction and execution sentence have been upheld in court.
Now these two Christian brothers will hang for their Christian faith.
This is the ultimate vile human rights violation.
We’re mobilizing our international affiliate – the European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ) – and its partner in Pakistan to appeal directly to Pakistan’s Supreme Court to have this miscarriage of justice overturned. No one should be put to death for their faith. Time is of the essence. Take urgent action with us.
