President Donald Trump could be on the verge of securing a new voting bloc. According to Nicole Shanahan, the running mate for Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., they could drop out of the 2024 presidential race to help Trump defeat Vice President Kamala Harris.

In the past, a third-party candidate has almost always dropped out to endorse the Democrat candidate. However, according to Shanahan, the “risk of a Harris-Walz presidency” would further empower “the people that have corrupted our fair and free democracy.” RFK Jr. and Shanahan do not want Harris to win, which speaks volumes about their disgust with the Democrat platform.

Undoubtedly, RFK Jr.’s endorsement of Trump would affect the election polls drastically. The fact that RFK Jr. is considering this move shows that he’s likely polling better among Trump/Vance voters than Harris/Walz voters. The polls probably changed quite a bit after Biden stepped down from the 2024 race.

On the Impact Theory podcast, Shanahan insinuated that they would try to get their supporters to go to Trump’s side. Of course, there’s no guarantee that this would happen.

Let’s hypothetically play this scenario out. RFK Jr. has run arguably one of the most successful third-party campaigns in our lifetimes – definitely the most successful since Ross Perot helped President Bill Clinton win the White House in 1992. If he were to join forces with Trump, and RFK Jr.’s supporters decide to vote for Trump, then that 3–4% of voters would be drastic. Assuming the latest polls are somewhat accurate, Trump would take almost a 5% lead against Harris.

For Shanahan to be talking this openly on a podcast, I’ve got to think that it’s likely a done deal. President Trump also addressed the possibility of an endorsement and entertained the idea of putting RFK Jr. in his cabinet. On Friday, RFK Jr. will deliver a speech to address his plans for his political future.

Last night was the second night of the DNC, or as some are calling it: “abortion-palooza.” We are all witnessing the far Left openly redefine abortion as anything related to women’s “reproductive health.” At the DNC right now, an abortion is a man getting a vasectomy, a woman having a miscarriage, or using birth control. It’s a woman using IVF or any other fertility treatment. An abortion is everything but killing an unborn child.

Not only is it redefining an abortion, but the far Left is also embracing abortion. Instead of far-Left politicians running away from it, an abortion is now something to be proud of. It’s absolutely sickening to see the killing of the unborn celebrated on the stage at the DNC. Could it backfire at all and drive moderate Democrat voters away?

At the ACLJ, we are fighting back against the abortion industry. As we’ve told you, we are launching a media campaign to defend Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRCs). Right now in the state of Massachusetts, billboards are spewing outrageous lies about PRCs. We looking to put up pro-life billboards and ads that tell the truth about PRCS and their lifesaving work for struggling parents.

We also just filed a lawsuit against the state of Massachusetts. Using taxpayer funds to attack PRCs violates the centers’ free speech, free exercise of religion, and equal protection rights. Right now, it’s Massachusetts engaging in an illegal smear campaign. We must win now to stop other states from following suit.

Our media campaign and lawsuit require immense resources. Donate today during our Life & Liberty Drive – gifts are doubled.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast included a full analysis of how RFK Jr.’s endorsement would benefit President Trump’s presidential campaign. ACLJ Senior Counsel for International and Government Affairs Jeff Ballabon spoke about pro-Hamas voters and legislators encouraging Vice President Kamala Harris to agree to an arms embargo on Israel.
