Ryan Routh, whose assassination attempt against President Trump at a golf course was stopped by the U.S. Secret Service, had ties to a Ukrainian arms dealer to obtain a rocket launcher. If he had gotten his hands on the military weapon, he would have tried to shoot Trump’s plane down.

This new information is from a government filing that the prosecution has to file within the court proceedings against Routh, and this is the government’s motion to admit potential Rule 404(b) evidence. Now, 404(b) evidence typically wouldn’t be admitted in a case because it pertains to other crimes of an individual.

The prosecution can admit this evidence if it pertains to motive, intent, and things of that nature. So essentially, the prosecution is arguing that this information is relevant because it explains Routh’s motives in trying to assassinate Trump.

Now we already knew that Routh had been to Ukraine. But now the details in the government’s documents reveal that he had wanted an arms dealer to ship a rocket launcher to him, saying, “I need equipment so that Trump cannot get elected.” Fortunately, the plans never came to fruition.

The documents also point out that Routh had previous WMD charges and was a convicted felon for possessing illegal weapons. For example, he had a past of driving around with submachine guns, and he even owned an AK-47.

As such, he posed a serious threat:

The WMD conviction not only shows Routh’s comfort with devices that may cause death or grave injury, but also shows that he was indeed capable of intending to do the extraordinary. . . . A prior conviction for possessing a weapon of mass death and destruction – as dynamite would – supports the idea that he was perfectly fine with the idea of committing an act of extreme violence in public causing massive public consequences.

Why wasn’t Routh on the FBI’s radar much sooner? I hope that new FBI Director Kash Patel trains agents to target true threats to the country – as opposed to pro-life advocates and Christians.

We have a big update in our counter-campaign and lawsuit to combat the lies and mass deception being spread about Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRCs). As we’ve told you, the state of Massachusetts has been using taxpayer funding to attack the lifesaving services of PRCs. If we don’t put an end to the mass deception, then other states will use taxpayer funds for similar smear campaigns.

Back in November 2024, the state of Massachusetts filed a motion to have our lawsuit dismissed. The judge sat on the motion to dismiss until yesterday before announcing that a hearing would take place in TWO WEEKS. Ironically, the opposition wanted more time to get ready for the hearing, but our legal team will be more than prepared to explain why our case should move forward.

I can’t give a definitive answer for why the judge just now decided to move forward with the case. However, I can’t help but think that the $500,000 ad campaign that we launched in Boston (billboards and digital ads with pro-life messaging) might have spurred the judge to take action.

It’s why we need your help now more than ever to save the unborn. Donate today to our Life & Liberty Drive. Gifts are doubled to fund our fight to advocate for PRCS. Also, sign our petition to defeat the mass deception in Massachusetts.
