After enduring a firestorm of Deep State retaliation by the Biden DOJ for exposing corruption, political bias, and weaponization within the FBI, the truth has won out, and our client Special Agent Garret O’Boyle will have his life – and livelihood – restored.

As we just reported on our website, Agent Garret O’Boyle has been fully vindicated through a comprehensive settlement agreement with the DOJ made possible by President Trump’s Administration and his new leadership at the DOJ and FBI.

As part of that agreement, the DOJ has agreed to pay Agent O’Boyle his back pay, benefits, damages, and to provide him with a full reinstatement – including his security clearance – after years of persecution under the Biden Administration.

As we reported, Agent O’Boyle bravely testified before Congress about Deep State corruption within the agency, which targeted pro-lifers, even labeling them with threat tags like terrorists. In return for his courage, the Biden Administration made Agent O’Boyle's life a nightmare, raining down a firestorm of Deep State retribution against him.

As Special Agent O’Boyle testified before Congress: “The FBI will crush you. This government will crush you and your family if you try to expose the truth about things that they are doing that are wrong.”

My dad, ACLJ Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow, joined us on the broadcast to share his reaction and stress the significance of our legal victory:

Well, it is a huge victory. . . . Garret O’Boyle had served with distinction at the FBI for a long time. And when he brought to light concerns that he had about statements that were being made and misstatements being made to Congress, . . . the FBI crushed him. They crushed him; they crushed his family. He lost his job, his livelihood, his home – the stress on the family was unprecedented.

We joined in the litigation as counsel and litigated the case with the Binnall Law Firm and with Empower Oversight, two good friends of ours whom we’ve worked with before. And the end result – and I want to say this again, a thank you to all of our ACLJ members and especially our ACLJ Champions – he got justice. . . .

This was not only a vindication but a tremendous victory for the American people, and especially for Garret O’Boyle, a dedicated member of the FBI. It’s a huge win. We can’t underscore it enough. It’s significant. The impact is huge. It sends a message to leadership within the FBI, and I got to thank Kash Patel and Pam Bondi for getting this done.

A caller asked if those in power who allowed our client and other brave whistleblowers to be targeted and punished would be held accountable. My dad responded that they will, and it may already be happening:

Here’s how that works. The internal employment law (human resources) rules of the FBI are different than those in civil service generally. So the individuals who violated the law and violated the rights can be removed from their positions. They can be fired. There’s probably not criminal liability here, but there are consequences. The government’s having to pay  Agent O’Boyle damages as part of this settlement, and the individuals responsible for it will, if not already, be held accountable.

Agent O’Boyle took to X to thank the ACLJ for our tireless work on his behalf. The ACLJ was honored to represent Agent O’Boyle and his family in this fight. The Biden DOJ tried to silence him, but the truth prevailed and justice was served.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast included more discussion of Agent O’Boyle’s case and what this victory means to our federal agencies, as well as to the American people.
