A day before the 2024 presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and President Donald Trump (moderated by ABC News’ David Muir and Linsey Davis), the Harris-Walz campaign finally listed policies on its campaign website. Is it too little, too late for Harris?

The website features four sections related to Harris’ policies:

  • “Build an Opportunity Economy and Lower Costs for Families”
  • “Safeguard Our Fundamental Freedoms”
  • “Ensure Safety and Justice for All”
  • “Keep America Safe, Secure, and Prosperous”

I’ll be honest: The content on the website is so bland and generic that it looks like it could have been written by AI. If not, then it’s by a writer who’s been in the political game so long that their content feels AI-generated.

Sadly, if you read the breakdown of the policies, you’re not going to learn a whole lot about Harris’ positions. The content consists mostly of Kamala’s frequent world-salad platitudes. For example, her section “Invest in America’s Sources of Strength” says:

Vice President Harris will make sure that America, not China, wins the competition for the 21st century and that we strengthen, not abdicate, our global leadership. She will invest in the competitive advantages that make America the strongest nation on Earth—American workers, innovation, and industry—and will work to ensure America remains a leader in the industries of the future.

So as you can see, the website offers nothing specific and just some political buzzwords. This benign list of policies was likely just thrown together since the debate is tomorrow.

Over the weekend, Senator Bernie Sanders (VT) was questioned on Meet the Press about VP Harris’ sudden shift to the middle on policies. He then said the quiet part out loud, that Harris is being “pragmatic” and “doing what she thinks is right in order to win the election.” He still considers Harris to be a “progressive.” Say what you will about Senator Sanders, but you can’t criticize his honesty. He’s always straightforward about what he believes to be true.

So when Kamala promises support for Israel yet is silent on whether or not she will support an embargo on U.S. weapons being sent to Israel, is she pro-Israel or not?

Which is the true Kamala? Is she the politician putting out campaign ads featuring President Trump’s border wall? Or is she the same one who espoused radical policies, such as wanting to ban fracking or providing Medicare for all, during her time as a Senator and Vice President? Voters should look at her history instead of only accepting her radical shifts in positions now that she’s on the campaign trail.

At the same time, the Biden-Harris Administration’s war on Christians hasn’t diminished at all. As you know, we’ve been defending numerous senior citizens who have experienced blatant religious discrimination at senior resident complexes. In fact, we earlier sent demand letters to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) and the Department of Justice (“DOJ”) because of the rampant attacks on senior citizens’ religious liberties since the start of 2023.

Now we have a new client at a senior citizen complex who was banned from advertising for a Bible study on campus. Rather, the complex insisted that the advertisement be replaced with the wording “Spiritual Services,” which is discriminatory and violates federal law.

We sent a legal demand letter to this senior citizen complex, demanding that our client be rightly allowed to advertise for a Bible study. A response to our demand letter is due in the next week, and we are hopeful that the complex will allow our client’s advertisement to be described as a “Bible study” and not mischaracterized as something else.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast included a full analysis of VP Kamala Harris’ late addition of policies to her campaign website. ACLJ Senior Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy Ric Grenell reacted to former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi suggesting Trump might not debate Harris.
