Kamala Campaign Surge Causes Major Problems for Trump

Vice President Kamala Harris’ momentum is surging, as she is bringing in massive fundraising and cutting into President Donald Trump’s lead in the 2024 presidential polls. Essentially, the race went from a major lead for Trump over President Biden to a dead heat in the swing states after the pivot to VP Harris. The Harris campaign is receiving a favorable bump that would naturally come from months of campaigning – all in just a couple of weeks.

The Trump team plans to respond to Harris’ recent surge with a $10-million ad campaign in the swing states. Will it be able to stop the turning tide?

The DNC chose Harris at the moment they did because they believed she gave them a much better chance than Biden. So even though political opponents might point out that Harris never won a delegate or had to exit the 2020 presidential primary early, the DNC was able to install a new candidate who didn’t need to win a single vote. And it’s able to present a clear plan going forward.

After the assassination attempt on President Trump, his campaign received a giant spike in the polls. The Democrat Party responded by literally removing Biden to get the nation to stop talking about what a hero Trump was. And now Harris is expected to start touring the swing states with her soon-to-be-announced running mate by next week.

This presidential race might come down to who has the ball last on Election Day. It’s not likely to be a landslide victory but rather whose message is resonating when people go to the polls.

In other big news, yesterday President Biden revealed his plan “to reform” the U.S. Supreme Court. One major push in his effort to remake the court is an 18-year term limit for Justices. In other words, it’s yet another far-Left threat to “pack the Court” with liberal Justices. However, the blatant attempt at a power grab for the Left likely won’t go anywhere because of the GOP-controlled House. But it’s a major talking point of the Left to make the Supreme Court the boogeyman.

Former U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard reacted to Biden’s suggested “reforms”:

This is one of the main reasons why I left the Democratic Party. I talk about this in my book For Love of Country. This is what happens when you have a party that doesn’t care about the Constitution. And they really believe that they are the authority in this country that is more powerful and more important than the Constitution’s foundational principles in our country. So, of course, they believe that they should be able to dictate the rules of the Supreme Court [and] that they should be able to dictate and have power over what the Constitution mandates, [which] is a coequal branch of government.

The far Left is playing with the fundamentals of democracy. If Biden-Harris can pack the Court, then it will strengthen the Executive branch even more because they have all the power.

Finally, ACLJ Senior Counsel CeCe Heil gave us an update on the ACLJ’s fight to defend Israel. The International Criminal Court (ICC) is trying to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. However, the ICC just granted the ACLJ’s legal request to file an amicus brief before the court in defense of Israel’s interests. We will file our brief tomorrow.
