Ilhan Omar Meltdown on Capitol Hill
Listen tothis article
Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (MN-5), infamous member of “The Squad,” just attacked Jerry Seinfeld in an almost nonsensical rant to TMZ after the comedian dismissed the request from an activist to declare "Free Palestine" and stated, “It doesn’t exist.” In her response, Omar called him "a horrific human being" and "genocidal" on the issue of Palestine.
As MSN reported:
Rep. Ilhan Omar accused Jerry Seinfeld of using his platform to diminish Palestinians after he told a fan “Palestine doesn’t exist” outside the NBA Finals Game 4. Omar described the language as disgusting, disturbing, and genocidal, warning it erases history and legitimizes harm. She also highlighted the irony of someone from a community that endured the Holocaust engaging in rhetoric she sees as erasing another people.
“I think Jerry Seinfeld has been really horrific human being and an example when it comes to talking about the reality of the genocide that Israel has carried out. And I think when people prioritize their own people in the interest of harming others, it’s very dangerous. It’s very disgusting. It’s very disturbing and it’s very genocidal language that he uses and people need to call him out for it.”
Omar’s remarks come amid ongoing disputes over Palestinian identity and recognition. She framed Seinfeld’s words as contributing to the erasure of a people she says are indigenous to the land, directly challenging narratives that deny their existence. Her comments reflect her broader advocacy for Palestinian rights and opposition to Israeli land policies.
Seinfeld was ambushed while leaving Madison Square Garden after the New York Knicks’ big win in the NBA finals. He was approached by a Tik Tok “influencer,” who apparently also fancies himself a pro-Palestine activist. It was clear this individual was trying to bait the star barking out, “what up, Seinfeld?”
Now, to no one’s surprise, notorious Israel-hater Congresswoman Ilhan Omar – whowe’ve previously reported, has publicly made racist, antisemitic remarks has entered the chat. She couldn’t wait to respond when asked about Seinfeld’s comments by tabloid news organizationTMZ on Capitol Hill.
Omar was quick to push the narrative that Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians and is essentially a colonial power — and inexplicably labeled Seinfeld "a horrific human being" whose words she found deeply offensive. But perhaps most chilling was her remark, "I'm assuming he is of Jewish heritage," as if that fact alone renders his opinions invalid.
Let us never forget that this is the womanwho said, “Israel has hypnotized the world” and prayed that Allah would show the world the “evil doings of Israel.” And then there was the timeshe said that the U.S. support of Israel was “all about the Benjamins.” – in other words, pushing the antisemitic trope that Jews and Jewish money control everything, including the government.
Seinfeld may be the comedian, but Omar’s words would be laughable, if they weren’t so dangerous.
Today’s Sekulow broadcast included more discussion of Ilhan Omar’s unhinged comments about Jerry Seinfeld. We also discussed President Trump calling off strikes on Kharg Island, the possibility of a new deal with Iran, and former presidential hopeful “Mayor Pete” Buttigieg’s call for packing the U.S. Supreme Court.
