The DOJ announced that an MS-13 gang leader was arrested in Woodbridge, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C. Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel oversaw the FBI raid that captured the illegal gang member. After the arrest, Bondi proclaimed that the FBI “executed a clean, safe operation and the bad guy’s in custody. And thanks to the FBI, we got one of the worst of the worst of the MS-13 off the streets this morning. Virginia and the country is a lot safer today.”

A wild revelation from today is that this gang leader is only 24 years old and was found living in a nice neighborhood among everyday Americans. It really shows you just how gangs are infiltrating our communities. However, just two months into office, the Trump Administration continues to deliver on its promise to crack down on illegal immigration and gang violence in America.

Regarding the arrest, Patel stated: “This is what can happen when you put good cops in good places to take on bad guys. And America should be watching this. And we are proud to be here standing with these brave warriors.”

So what does it mean now that law enforcement has been unleashed to do their job? ACLJ Senior Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy Ric Grenell elaborated further:

The governor of Virginia has been trying to do things like this for three years, and he didn’t have any cooperation from the Feds. Now that Kash Patel is there, now that Pam Bondi is there, they’re getting cooperation, and we’re going through and digging in and finding these sleeper cells of gang members who want to do nefarious things to the United States. This is what we have to do. This is tough work. This is trying to use intelligence to dig down, find out where people are, find out where they live, and go get them.

Yes, it’s disruptive. Yes, it’s going to be loud in these communities when you go in and do something like this, but it makes our communities safer. These individuals never should have been in our country. They are in our country because of the Biden Administration. We now have to dig deep, find them, and get them out. This is a gang member whom the governor of Virginia has been trying to get out for years, and now, under the Trump Administration, we got him out.

The capture of a major gang leader is great news for America. And yet, as Ric pointed out, CNN didn’t want to promote the arrest and give the Trump Administration a win.

When Ric turned on CNN’s broadcast, he saw European soccer being promoted. I also turned on CNN this morning and only saw the celebration of the opening day of baseball. No offense to America’s favorite pastime, but huge victories that protect the lives of U.S. citizens should be shared nationally.

I want to shift to the news about DOGE’s next target: NPR and PBS. Yesterday, NPR CEO Katherine Maher and PBS CEO Paula Kerger testified before the DOGE subcommittee to explain why their coverage is politically slanted. Most notably, Maher admitted that NPR blew it by failing to cover the Hunter Biden laptop scandal properly.

Today, Rep. Ronny Jackson (TX-13), a member of the DOGE Subcommittee, introduced a bill (“No Partisan Radio and Partisan Broadcasting Services Act”) to defund “chronically biased” programming that is responsible for “pushing Democrat talking points under the fake banner of ‘public media.’”

Now my colleague, Sekulow Executive Producer Will Haynes, used to work for NPR. And I have consumed a large amount of NPR and PBS content over the years. And I honestly like their content when it’s not outrageously biased.

For example, about 10 years ago, my kids and I watched a children’s PBS show about a Hanukkah special. And the narrative was framed around the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. And, of course, it put Israel in a bad light.

It will be interesting to see how much funding gets stripped from these taxpayer-funded government media outlets. And so far, DOGE’s wrecking ball hasn’t been stopped despite far-Left attempts to block it. Further, the ACLJ has now filed in seven cases in five federal courts to defend DOGE’s mission.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast included a full analysis of Trump’s DOJ capturing a violent MS-13 gang leader.
