DNI Tulsi Gabbard Uncovers Impeachment Conspiracy Against President Trump

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard just released bombshell evidence of a Deep State Intelligence Community conspiracy to use the Russia hoax as grounds to impeach President Donald Trump.

Add this latest bombshell to the list of Deep State efforts to undermine the Trump Administration at any cost.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released newly declassified testimony that she alleges shows a “coordinated effort” by the intelligence community to “manufacture a conspiracy” used as the basis of President Donald Trump first impeachment.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence on Monday released two declassified transcripts from closed-door House Intelligence Committee hearings that Gabbard’s office says show former Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson advanced as credible a whistleblower complaint based on secondhand information from an individual who had previously worked with then-Vice President Joe Biden in Ukraine. Gabbard’s office argued that, based on this and other testimony, Atkinson’s actions “weaponize[d] the whistleblower process and exceed[ed] his statutory jurisdiction.”

Atkinson’s investigation helped trigger the first impeachment of Trump by advancing what he deemed a “credible” whistleblower complaint regarding a July 2019 phone call between the president and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Former Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson “did not follow standard IG procedures and relied upon politicized, manufactured narratives” while investigating the whistleblower claim that ultimately led to Trump’s 2019 impeachment, Gabbard’s office said Monday.

Gabbard, citing previously classified House testimony by Atkinson, said the former inspector general “aggressively advanced” his preliminary probe while relying on secondhand testimony and what she described as politicized witnesses. Gabbard’s office also charged that Atkinson “never conducted a formal or complete investigation.”

“In his own words, IC IG Atkinson recognizes that his conclusions were based on a ‘preliminary investigation,’ noting that ‘I haven’t done an investigation to determine whether they actually, in fact, took place … that all of the alleged actions actually took place,’” according to the statement from Gabbard.

DNI Gabbard lays out in black and white how the Inspector General (IG) for the intelligence community – who is supposed to be the watchdog that makes sure nefarious things aren’t going on within the intelligence community – weaponized his position and went beyond his statutory authority to push this whistleblower narrative to lead to the impeachment of President Trump.

IG Michael Atkinson relied on this whistleblower report, despite the fact that it had been returned to him, saying it wasn’t of urgent concern to bring before Congress. So, he opted to slip under the guardrails and relied on secondhand reports, as well as the testimony of two witnesses who had no firsthand knowledge. One of those witnesses was an author of the intelligence community assessment, which is the Russia hoax from 2016.

U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Ric Grenell – who served as acting DNI under President Trump’s  first Administration – joined us to share his own experiences with this IG:

Yeah, look, I was the DNI when Michael Atkinson was the IG, and I saw him really not play fair, be extremely partisan. He had an attitude that he was out to get Trump and anyone associated with Trump. And so, he was removed while I was DNI. He was removed by President Trump. . . . 

At the time, the media went crazy because, of course, they had this narrative that Donald Trump was trying to target people for their partisan views or for their non-support of his views.

And what was clear is that . . . we had an IG that wasn’t looking at the facts, wasn’t interested in the facts, wasn’t interested in talking to people about the facts. He was interested in just getting Donald Trump, no matter what, and he ran roughshod over the actual process that an IG is supposed to do.

Remember, the IG is there in agencies to be the guy that is absolutely above partisanship. He’s there as a referee to call balls and strikes – to look at the situation and issue thoughtful reports about the political attacks that come from the media and from the opposition.

This guy . . . was an activist out to get Trump, and he posed as someone who was going to be a referee, and I’m very glad that President Trump fired him in 2020.

This certainly feels like more of the Deep State at its worst, and it’s all there in transcripts and official government documents. This wasn’t just a conspiracy hoax – this was a legitimate effort by multiple angles in the government, Congress, and the IG for the intelligence community to bring down a sitting President because he was a threat to their agenda. That should be a real concern for all Americans.
