Former FBI Director James Comey’s media mole was just unmasked: A Columbia University Law professor (and personal friend of Comey) admitted to spreading the Russia hoax with The New York Times and also “correct[ing] critical stories of Comey [and] the FBI.” In other words, Comey had a direct pipeline to the media that he used to craft narratives that were expedient to him and the FBI.

The mole, Daniel Richman, also told the FBI that he never leaked or confirmed classified intel to news reporters. But he gave the caveat of “with a discount,” meaning he didn’t want to commit a federal offense by lying to the FBI, but he gave a “wink-wink.”

We’re learning more and more that the Deep State FBI did a lot of nothing unless it involved going after President Trump. In this instance, Comey brought in his friend as a special government employee to help peddle the Russia hoax.

John Solomon (Just the News) wrote about this Deep State scandal. He joined our broadcast to elaborate further:

At taxpayer expense, James Comey brought a friend onto the payroll to be a special PR consultant and to go around the official press office of the FBI, which is also on our tax dollars . . . and he’s having discussions with reporters about classified information. And when he’s asked, Did you confirm or provide that information, he gives one of the great non-denial answers in American history. It’s probably going to be up there with Bill Clinton’s meaning of the word is when he was trying to parse words about whether he had had an affair or sexual relationship with his intern Monica Lewinsky. That was probably the most famous one in the last 30 years. He says, Well, I’m pretty sure I didn’t confirm the intelligence, and I’m sure, “with a discount,” I didn’t give him the classified documents. If you need a discount on your truthfulness to make that claim, it’s a red flag to the FBI that maybe you haven’t told him the whole story.

What you get to see now is that James Comey wasn’t just trying to do good in the country. He wasn’t trying to stand up to a President. All the narratives he’s given us on his high and mighty media tours – he was worried about how he was being viewed, his reputation.

So Richman was leaking classified information and intentionally violating the Espionage Act on behalf of Comey. The former FBI Director could be in hot water.

In ACLJ-related news, a conservative movement is burgeoning in Europe. And in France, Marine Le Pen, a conservative leader, has been banned from running for office. My brother, ACLJ Executive Director Jordan Sekulow, gave an update on a major undertaking by our international legal team:

As of right now, [Le Pen] cannot be a candidate in the next presidential election, which is 2027. . . . They are asking for our assistance, and in this case, while we were there, Marine Le Pen came directly to the European Center for Law and Justice asking for our assistance in helping to prepare a legal filing before the European Court of Human Rights, which is something we have now done for her team, and we’ve been . . . using the most senior attorneys and legal minds we have there, who have practiced before the European Court of Human Rights. So what we’re trying to do is take this case out of this French system, which has allowed for this penalty to go into place while the appeal is ongoing. . . .

By the way, what does this sound like to you? We don’t like this candidate; they’re too strong; they’re too popular. So let’s try to use lawfare – to keep them from even being an option for people, even being an option on the ballot, and that’s what’s happened right now in France.

The same weaponization of justice that targeted President Trump is now being unleashed against Marine Le Pen – and we’re fighting back. This is lawfare in action: Using the courts to eliminate political opposition.

It quite directly echoes Trump v. Anderson, where we won a unanimous victory at the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of the Colorado Republican Party and the right to have President Trump on the ballot. We must help European conservatives who have embraced our conservative principles. We will keep you updated on our efforts to help Le Pen.
