Arrested: Corrupt Judges Caught Red-Handed

Federal agents arrested ex-New Mexico judge Joel Cano and his wife for harboring a member of Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua gang. Cano had resigned in March after accusations surfaced. So he was, in fact, a sitting judge while housing a violent illegal gang member.

Now you’ve heard a lot lately about rogue judges issuing injunctions to block President Trump’s agenda nationwide. However, this judge engaged in illegal activity as a member of the New Mexico Supreme Court. Further, the state has banned him from serving as a judge ever again.

The gang member, Cristhian Ortega-Lopez, had been employed as a handyman at the Canos’ residence and was living in their guesthouse. Over time, he apparently became good friends with the Canos, as shown by family photos posing with Ortega-Lopez.

He has been in the country since 2023 and was earlier detained at the Texas border but released under the Biden Administration’s purview due to “overcrowding.” So Biden’s infamous “Catch and Release” program failed yet again.

And then, wildly enough, shortly before we broadcast today, another judge was arrested for a similar crime. In Milwaukee, Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested by the FBI for allegedly helping an illegal alien to “evade arrest” in her courthouse, as reported by FBI Director Kash Patel. The FBI agents had to chase the illegal alien (who had been hidden by Dugan in the jury deliberation room) on foot before taking him down. As a result, Dugan was charged with obstruction.

As you know, the far Left keeps accusing Trump of creating a constitutional crisis in America. Rather, we have examples of far-Left activist judges committing actual crimes because of their radical open-border beliefs.

It seems like everything President Trump does ends up with a judge, handpicked by the far Left, issuing a nationwide injunction. That is what is causing a constitutional crisis, not President Trump.

And now the U.S. Supreme Court has just agreed to hear a huge case after another judge blocked one of President Trump’s Executive orders on illegal immigration. This case could set a far-reaching precedent for these out-of-control activist judicial rulings.

The ACLJ has already filed seven briefs in five federal courts against the far Left’s outrageous lawsuits against the Trump Administration. Now our emergency Supreme Court deadline is Tuesday, and our legal team will be working through the weekend to prepare this critical brief.

We are also seeing the far Left’s chaos within the DNC. Prominent activist David Hogg, vice Chair of the DNC, has been given an ultimatum to either change his ways or lose his position. ACLJ Senior Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy Ric Grenell reacted to this news:

We all know that the Democratic Party is full of intolerance right now. They don’t want to debate. They don’t want regular people to challenge the elites. This is a party of elites. They make the rules at the top, and they demand that everybody follow. And I think David Hogg, who’s much younger, is trying to change the party and say, Let’s have a discussion. Let’s be able to see who’s the better candidate. And the elites within the Democratic Party are completely crushing him. I think that this is the entire problem. It’s emblematic of the situation that the Democrats find themselves in. The elites are controlling the narrative; they’re crushing any debate. They want everyone to get in line, and if you don’t get in line, you get canceled.

Will the far Left continue to silence all opposition? The most recent election shows that the far Left doesn’t reflect the majority of America. Most are in favor of secure borders – in fact, the election was a mandate to revert course from the previous Administration. Will the far Left keep opposing what the people want?
