Air Force One Mystery Deepens After New Report

A bombshell report claims that Iran has a new plot to take out President Donald Trump, raising questions about the decision to switch planes while heading back from the NATO summit.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Israel informed the Trump Administration of Iran’s plan:
Israel shared new intelligence with the U.S. that it said indicated a fresh Iranian plan to kill President Trump, people familiar with the matter said, a finding that would mark an escalation in the war between Washington and Iran.
Iran for years has vowed openly to retaliate against Trump for the assassination of Qassem Soleimani, who was a top general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, in the president’s first term.
The Israeli embassy in Washington declined to comment. Iran’s Mission to the United Nations didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
The White House referred The Wall Street Journal to comments the president made on Wednesday.
Trump on Wednesday alluded to threats to his life when speaking to reporters in Ankara, Turkey.
“They want to take out the U.S. leader—me,” he said. “I’m on every list. I saw this morning, I’m on every single one of their lists. And so far, I guess I’ve been a little bit lucky, but that maybe doesn’t last very long.”
This exclusive from the Wall Street Journal dropped last night and I think it adds a layer to the whole mystery surrounding the plane change to Air Force One traveling back to the US after the NATO summit in Turkey.
We know that Trump has been a target since the death of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani. Iran vowed revenge against Trump, as well as against our colleague, ACLJ Senior Counsel Mike Pompeo, who was serving as U.S. Secretary of State at the time.
Iran signed the MOU which says, among other things, that the United Statesand |Iran would undertake to respect each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and to refrain from interfering in each other's internal affairs. I’d say that trying to assassinate the President of the United States is in direct conflict with that principle in the MOU.
Any sense that Iran had changed — that signing the MOU meant they were willing to cooperate — is clearly invalid now. Not when they're still trying to carry out an assassination plot against the president.
President Trump took to Truth Social post this morning stating that Iran asked to continue talks. Trump said he has agreed to do so, but stated in no uncertain terms, that the ceasefire is over. The President seems to be indicating that Iran can try and salvage this, but they shouldn’t expect us to withhold from firing back..
Today’s Sekulow broadcast included more analysis of Iran’s active plot to assassinate the President of the United States. We were also joined by U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Ric Grenell to discuss the ongoing effort of socialists to gain electoral power.
