ACLJ Investigation Uncovers Voter Fraud
Listen tothis article
The ACLJ just obtained FOIA records from Cheverly, Maryland, that appear to reveal that 25% of its Noncitizen Voter Registry, which are only legally allowed to vote in local elections, also voted in state and federal elections.
That’s literally one out of every four noncitizens on Cheverly’s noncitizen voter roll. This is either evidence of massive voter fraud where noncitizens are voting in yet another state or gross incompetence on the part of voter registry officials.
As we explained:
In November 2020, Cheverly amended its charter to let noncitizens vote in town elections. The town established a local supplemental voter registry. . . .
Its own forms and guidance describe the list as limited to Cheverly municipal contests. Noncitizens are told the registration does not authorize them to vote in other elections, and the town even offers letters explaining the local-only nature of the signup for use in immigration proceedings. The design assumes a clean separation: one list for town races that do not require citizenship, another list – the Maryland statewide file – that does.
The American Accountability Foundation requested this list back in October of 2025 – literally an entire year ago. It also requested documentation to verify if the town was doing what its charter said it would be doing, keeping the list separate.
Eight months passed. Follow-up inquiries went unanswered. No documents arrived. Then the American Accountability Foundation asked the ACLJ to get involved, and we filed a lawsuit.
After obtaining the list from the town of Cheverly, we discovered that around 25% of the people on the noncitizen list voted in federal or state elections.
There is a name for that – voter fraud. And we are referring this matter directly to the DOJ.
As we reported:
The astonishing number of individuals on the Noncitizen Voter Registry showing up in public federal voter records is direct evidence of voter fraud, gross incompetence on behalf of the election officials maintaining the voter lists, or both. Either way, there is a major voter irregularity happening right before our eyes in Maryland.
On the broadcast, we were joined by U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Ric Grenell, who offered his reaction to this latest evidence of voter fraud:
I’m not surprised that there are governments that are controlled by one party, like the state of Maryland, like the state of California, that are disinterested in enforcing federal law that just simply says illegals and residency violators – remember, it’s also residency violators, people who move out of the state – all of those individuals should not be allowed to vote. We don’t check in California; they don’t check in Maryland. I’m not surprised that there are governments that like the messy process, that want to have a whole bunch of people get ballots in the mail that are probably not able to vote through residency issues or immigration status. All of those individuals in government that are pushing this messy system, they know that it creates chaos, and they know individuals are going to vote, and they like it. And that’s the problem, and that’s what we have to combat.
This is a phenomenon that is happening all over the United States, with more and more localities allowing these voter shenanigans and hoping nobody notices.
The ACLJ notices, and we take action.
Today’s Sekulow broadcast included more discussion of this latest example of noncitizen voting fraud that the ACLJ’s legal work has uncovered, including analysis from ACLJ Executive Director Jordan Sekulow, and more from Special Envoy Ric Grenell.
