FBI Director Kash Patel is unleashing his agency to investigate why the Biden Administration allowed the terrorist Mohamed Sabry Soliman to overstay his tourist visa. Patel wants answers for why an illegal alien was able to launch a fire attack against Jews in Boulder, Colorado.

Yesterday’s antisemitic attack is yet another heartbreaking tragedy that is becoming too frequent on the streets of America. Just over a week ago, a pro-Hamas radical gunned down two Israelis outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. Again, these targeted attacks aren’t occurring in the Middle East or Israel – but in our country.

We are supposed to live in a nation where we have the liberty to worship freely or speak freely. Or even engage in discussions that are hostile, if necessary. But those liberties are at risk right now for Jewish Americans. Our country can’t continue in this manner.

I am a Zionist Jew and proud of it. Zionist is not a dirty word. And I shouldn’t have to worry about expressing my Judaism freely in America. The same is true for any Muslim who wants to express their faith or any Christian who wants to wear a cross on their neck.

The far Left has stoked the anti-Israel and antisemitic sentiment that is growing in America. We’ve seen the cancer spreading on college campuses – especially at Harvard, where the school officials have refused to quash it. Something has to change before more innocent people die. The Boulder attack is the manifestation of pro-Hamas radicals chanting “Intifada” across America.

And I’m glad we now have an FBI in place that will quickly identify antisemitism and terrorist attacks and not try to dance around an “unclear motive.” Soliman clearly wanted to kill peaceful Jews who were hosting a rally on behalf of Israeli hostages. He yelled “Free Palestine” during his attack.

A caller phoned Sekulow today and said that we must not forget that attacks on Israel and Christians will continue until Jesus comes back. And, yes, that’s true – but it doesn’t mean that we don’t try to stop injustice and save innocent Jews and Christians from being killed. The Bible calls us to seek justice, which is what the ACLJ seeks to do every day in America and around the world.

The Jews being burned alive with a flamethrower in Boulder is a microcosm of the worldwide attacks on Israel. As we’ve told you, the international community continues to blame Israel for defending itself after the horrific atrocities of October 7.

The lawfare against Israel is ongoing. The International Criminal Court (ICC) launched an unfounded investigation into Israel, issuing arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel’s defense minister. The ICC blames both Israeli leaders for taking measures to protect Israel from further terrorist attacks.

Israel rightly challenged the ICC’s jurisdiction to make such a move. In a small victory for Israel, the Appeals Chamber of the ICC recently accepted Israel’s appeal against the Pre-Trial Chamber’s (PTC) ruling on Israel’s challenge to the court’s jurisdiction.

The ICC’s appellate chamber reversed the decision below and remanded the case to the PTC to address Israel’s substantive challenges anew. Through our international affiliate, the European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ), we have filed leave to submit an amicus brief to the ICC in this case. We are preparing our brief right now as we plan to defend Israel’s right to defend itself from further attack. We have also submitted a written statement to the U.N. Human Rights Council in defense of Israel.

We will never stop defending Israel both on the world stage and in America. We defended Israeli students on college campuses when pro-Hamas supporters threatened their lives. And we continue to advocate before international tribunals for Israel’s right to protect itself.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast included a full analysis of the FBI rightly recognizing the Boulder attack as an act of terror against Jewish Americans.
