United Nations Should Condemn Iranian Violence

With the fight for freedom intensifying in Iran, theres troubling new reports that the oppressive government in Iran is poised to take even more violent action against the protesters who are calling for free elections and democracy. The United Nations should not stand idle while this oppressive government regime in Iran threatens those who want freedom, free elections and democracy in Iran.

Stand with the ACLJ its European affiliate to demand that the United Nations condemn the repressive and violent actions of the Iranian government. Let them know that you support the peaceful protests of Iranian Dissidents. Please read the form below carefully and declare your membership with the ACLJ by adding your name to our Petition to Support the Human Rights of Iranian Dissidents.

As a sign of appreciation, we will send you our new DVD, Unshaken. Unshaken is our documentary shot on location in Israel and includes interviews with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Shimon Peres, and leading military officials. Unshaken also documents the hope and faith of one family who paid the ultimate price for running a Christian bookstore in the Gaza Strip and their journey out of Islamic Gaza to the safety of Israel.

PETITION TO SUPPORT THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF IRANIAN DISSIDENTS

TO:
The United Nations

I stand in strong support of a U.N. resolution expressing concern about the Iranian governments violent actions its human rights violations and its inability to hold fair elections.

It is time for the United Nations to hold Iran accountable for this use of force actions that violate human rights protections guaranteed by international law. A lack of response from the international community would be a devastating setback to democracy and human rights. While elections are internal matters, fundamental freedoms are universal.

This is why I strongly urge you to support a United Nations Resolution to Support the Human Rights of Iranian Dissidents. Irans actions violate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the time to stand-up for freedom and democracy is now.
