The Imam behind the Ground Zero mosque project is gearing up for a multi-country trip to the Middle East and youre paying for it.
Imam Rauf the Imam who has refused to declare Hamas a terrorist organization, who called the United States an accessory to the crimes of 9/11, and who has the green light to build a $100 million, 13-story mosque on the site where thousands of Americans were murdered by Islamic terrorists is planning to take a taxpayer-funded trip, courtesy of the U.S. State Department, to travel the Muslim world and foster a greater understanding about Islam.
The American Center for Law and Justice is on it were already in court, having filed a lawsuit challenging New York Citys decision to clear the way for the mosque to be built at Ground Zero. Now, the ACLJ is mobilizing once again filing a petition of protest demanding the State Department remove the Imam from this global journey.

We are deeply disturbed by the misguided decision to send the controversial Imam behind the Ground Zero Mosque on a goodwill mission traveling across the Middle East at taxpayers' expense.
Even more troubling are the questions surrounding Imam Rauf . Reports indicate that he was one of the key financiers of the Gaza-bound flotilla that recently carried terrorists determined to attack Israel. He has refused to declare Hamas a terrorist organization and has called the United States an accessory to the crimes of 9/11. Now, despite overwhelming public opposition, he has even been given the green light to build a $100 million, 13-story mosque on the site where thousands of Americans were murdered by Islamic terrorists.
Enough is enough. As radical Islam continues its bold and deadly march to erase freedom from the face of the earth, we must honor Americas fallen 9/11 victims!
