Kelsey E. McGee

Kelsey E. McGee is Associate Counsel at the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) Washington, D.C., office. Before joining the ACLJ, Kelsey was a law clerk for the Honorable Rebeca Navarro-McKelvey of the Missouri Court of Appeals and an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri. With the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, Kelsey handled criminal appeals, open-records law enforcement, and other projects, including research for Supreme Court litigation. In 2022, she graduated from Regent University School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board, Honor Council, James Kent American Inn of Court, Phi Alpha Delta, and the Federalist Society. Also, while at Regent, Kelsey interned for the ACLJ, the Virginia Beach Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, a criminal defense firm, and for the Robertson School of Government as a graduate assistant. Kelsey competed for Regent’s Moot Court team, winning a competition in 2021 and placing in the top 16 in 2022. Kelsey also holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Central Missouri.
