Senate Shift in Massachusetts

The outcome of this U.S. Senate race in Massachusetts commands national attention - Scott Brown, a Republican, defeated the Democrat favorite Martha Coakley.  For the first time in many decades, a Republican now holds this Senate seat - replacing the late Senator Edward Kennedy.

The outcome means the Democrats lose the 60 vote filibuster-proof majority in the Senate which could put passage of health care reform at risk.

It's still unclear on how the Democrats will proceed with health care reform.  What will the Democrat-controlled Congress do now?  Will they attempt to implement a legislative scheme to ram this government-controlled, pro-abortion health care bill through?
