Third Day of Alito Hearings Underway
Judge Sam Alito remains cool, calm and collected as the third day of hearings have gotten underway. Last night I appeared on Hannity & Colmes to discuss the Alito nomination. Even Catherine Crier from Court TV who opposes Judge Alito agreed that Sam Alito will be confirmed as the 108th Justice of the Supreme Court.
I am writing this report from the hearing room where Senator Sam Brownback is questioning Judge Alito. Senator Brownback is making the important point that sometimes the Supreme Court gets it wrong. When it does get it wrong, the Supreme Court needs to overrule those bad precedents. Judge Alito agrees that when the Court gets it wrong, the Court should overturn it.
