It’s outrageous. A city has banned anyone who was homeschooled from ever becoming a firefighter.

Today it’s the firefighters; tomorrow it could be nurses, teachers, or any other profession. This invidious and illegal discrimination against homeschoolers can’t stand. The ACLJ is representing volunteer firefighter Andrew Coates in his fight to ensure Christian homeschool graduates are NEVER banned from their desired profession. Our legal team just sent a legal demand letter and is preparing for major legal action in this case. But we urgently need your support in order to defend Christian parents and homeschool graduates. This attack on religious liberty and homeschooling cannot stand.
