The bill's sponsor, a far-Left state house representative, and other supporters are more concerned with government regulation than religious and educational freedom.
In a recent interview, the representative-sponsor declared that the bill is necessary to make sure that "we know that kids are alive, where they are, we want to make sure that they are okay." From a parent's perspective – that is chilling. They're trying to "protect" kids . . . from their parents.
