An internal Deep State memo opposing U.S. support for Israel claims President Joe Biden has been “spreading misinformation” about Israel’s war against terrorists in Gaza, implicating his own Administration in being complicit in what the memo claims are Israel’s alleged “war crimes.”

Axios has obtained the referenced State Department memo and reports:

The scathing five-page memo — organized by a junior diplomat who has suggested on social media that Biden’s support of Israel has made him “complicit in genocide” in Gaza — offers a rare look at the raw divisions within the Biden administration over the Israel-Hamas war.

  • The memo — signed by 100 State Department and USAID employees — urges senior U.S. officials to reassess their policy toward Israel and demand a ceasefire in Gaza . . . .

  • Some of the memo’s language echoes that of progressive activists in the U.S., whose anger and protests over Biden’s handling of the war have rippled through the Democratic Party — and created a new challenge for the president’s 2024 campaign.

  • Without offering a specific example, the memo accuses Biden of “spreading misinformation in his Oct. 10 speech” supporting Israel, one of the signature addresses of his presidency.

So is the Deep State officially turning on the sitting President? More than 100 employees signed this State Department memo, showing a growing divide within Biden’s Administration.

What could this foreshadow for Biden? We’ve all seen what the Deep State is capable of doing in going after President Trump. It is relentless in achieving its agenda.

The President should fire these Deep State employees immediately. They are not following the President’s foreign policies, which the Constitution gives the Commander in Chief the authority to make. Our enemies are salivating as they watch the chaos within the Biden Administration undermining international diplomacy.

And the Deep State is subverting U.S. policy all because President Biden voiced U.S. support for Israel after the Jewish people suffered the most deaths in a single day since the Holocaust. It’s absolutely sickening.

My dad, ACLJ Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow, gave a brief history of the Sekulow family’s history regarding the Holocaust. My great-grandparents survived the Holocaust. Unfortunately, our family had friends and relatives killed by the Nazis. My dad never thought he would see such open vitriol toward the Jews in his lifetime – less than 80 years removed from Hitler’s mass murder of 6 million Jews.

But here we are: Antisemitism is in full tilt again, and my generation is witnessing it, as are my children. And it’s not just overseas in the Middle East but in the Western world – especially in America on college campuses where Jewish students fear for their lives.

We are fighting back against this rampant antisemitism among the academic “elites.” Amid these pro-Hamas demonstrations on college campuses, the college presidents are saying nothing. They must be held accountable for allowing their faculty members and students to engage in such dangerous behavior and rhetoric.

We just had a major victory at Rutgers University, where we defended a Jewish student being targeted by the university. The student had notified the Student Bar Association (SBA) that pro-Hamas propaganda was being shared on campus. Instead of supporting this student, the SBA went after him, accusing him of defamation and disorderly conduct.

We intervened on the student’s behalf, sending a legal demand letter, and the university actually responded by disbanding the Student Bar Association for its vile antisemitism. Other universities need to step up and take similar action to defend their Jewish students on campus. We stand ready to defend Jewish students and Christians who support Israel facing similar unjust targeting.

We are also continuing our defense of the families of the Israeli hostages being held in Gaza. By the end of this week, we could potentially be representing 120 families. We are filing today at the U.N. on behalf of several of the families. The U.N. is now on notice, and we won’t back down. The U.N. must defend Israel.

Never doubt the ACLJ’s work in defending Israel and Jewish students on college campuses. We just launched the ACLJ Faith & Freedom Drive to fund our legal efforts to defend Israel. We need your support. Donate today, and your gift will be doubled.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast includes a full analysis of the Deep State’s attack on Biden’s pro-Israel foreign policies, the ACLJ’s recent Rutgers victory, and our continuing work to defend the families of the Israeli hostages.
