President Trump Embarrasses CNN
Last night, former President Donald Trump waded into hostile waters, agreeing to hold a town hall meeting live on CNN. You might think it would be unwise to step into a hostile network’s spotlight, where they could control the narrative, but President Trump deftly took control of the event, beating the mainstream media at their own game.
Former President Donald Trump came out swinging Wednesday at a town hall hosted by CNN in New Hampshire.
The former president participated in a live 90-minute event moderated by former chief White House correspondent and anchor Kaitlan Collins, which at times grew contentious . . . .
It felt like at every turn, moderator Kaitlan Collins was trying to trip up the former President or get him to say something that could be twisted and turned against him, and Trump deftly anticipated and connected with each curveball.
When pressured to answer which side he wants to win the war between Russia and Ukraine, President Trump answered:
I don’t think in terms of winning and losing. I think in terms of getting it settled so we stop killing all these people. I want everyone to stop dying. They’re dying, Russians and Ukrainians.
That is how you answer that question. That’s not a conservative or liberal response – it’s the human response. What President Trump did say is that this war would never have even happened if he were still President, and we tend to believe he’s correct.
When asked about the end of Title 42, President Trump answered: “Tomorrow is going to be a day of infamy. You’re going to have tens of thousands of people pouring into our country.”
And we’re already seeing them, thousands of migrants lined up in droves preparing to storm our southern border tomorrow.
Collins tried to corner Trump on whether or not he would support a federal ban on abortion across the board, but rather than deliver some “gotcha” moment she seemed to be hoping for, the former President simply stated:
President Trump is going to make a determination what he thinks is great for the country and what is fair for the country. . . . I’m looking at a solution that’s going to work.
And not surprisingly, the radical Left is melting down. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, often the mouthpiece of the so-called Squad of far-Left members of the U.S. House, took to Twitter while the town hall was still going on and blasted CNN:
CNN should be ashamed of themselves.
They have lost total control of this “town hall” to again be manipulated into platforming election disinformation, defenses of Jan 6th, and a public attack on a sexual abuse victim.
The audience is cheering him on and laughing at the host.
She told CNN to get control of the audience because they supported President Trump. AOC was basically saying people she doesn’t agree with should be silenced. This is the playbook of the radical Left. We hope you’re paying attention.
We also updated you on the situation of a 15-year-old high school student in Nevada who was humiliated by her teacher when she was required to perform an explicit, pornographic monologue against her wishes. In fact, when her mother tried to read it to the school board, her mother was SILENCED.
So according to this loathsome school board, the material is too offensive and dangerous for adults, but it’s fine that your children are forced to perform it before their class, whether they like it or not? That is ludicrous. And that’s why we just filed an amended complaint in our new lawsuit against the Clark County School District to hold these bureaucrats and school officials, including the teacher, accountable for the emotional damage inflicted on this young girl.
