Media Melts Down on Midterm Day

It’s midterm day, and the media meltdown has begun. Politico is already reporting on issues with voting machines, citing 6 security threats to the integrity of these crucial midterm elections. The radical Left appears to be setting the table in order to claim that the election was tampered with and the machines were faulty, etc.

As reported by Politico:

The 2020 presidential election was rife with allegations of voting machine hacks that were later debunked. Yet there are real risks that hackers could tunnel into voting equipment and other election infrastructure to try to undermine Tuesday’s vote.

So according to this, if the Left doesn’t sweep today’s midterm elections, the Left may claim it means that there absolutely was election fraud and hacking . . . THIS TIME.

But there’s a bigger issue here than preemptively casting doubt on the integrity of these voting machines, beyond the unbridled hypocrisy of the radical Left. There are people embroiled in monumental lawsuits right now for simply questioning voting machines in the 2020 election.

Now, as my dad, ACLJ Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow, points out, it’s apparently okay to say these things, if conservatives win:

Folks, remember all the election issues with the machines, ok, and then it wasn’t the machines, and lawsuits started and you couldn’t say anything about the machines . . . I’m defending some of this so I know what’s going on with machine lawsuits . . . .

So they couldn’t do it in 2020 but I guess they could do it in 2022. But if you said that and you were a conservative, you end up getting sued, or in some cases having federal charges brought against you. So this shows you the double nature of what’s going on here. And that’s just the start.

ACLJ Senior Counsel for Global Affairs, and former CIA Director, Mike Pompeo weighed in on how essential it is that everyone goes out and votes to make their voice heard:

People need to get out and vote . . . . The chutzpah to say that Republicans are election deniers, when Hillary Clinton claims that the 2016 election was stolen, is really quite remarkable. Go out and vote. We’ll get it right. The process will work.

We keep saying it folks, but elections have consequences. Today is your chance – your duty – to help shape the future, but you have to participate. Get out there and vote.
