ACLJ Demands Transparency on Abdul El-Sayed's Use of Taxpayer Resources

The ACLJ is seeking transparency on Abdul El-Sayed and has filed FOIA requests in Detroit and Wayne County to uncover his record as a taxpayer-funded health official. We're requesting his communication records — including any with Planned Parenthood — along with records on sole-source contracts and grants steered to outside groups, undisclosed outside income, and any buried ethics or misconduct complaints, among other categories in this comprehensive request. In Wayne County, we're also seeking records on how he used public resources and staff time.
