 The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) along with its international affiliate, the European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ) successfully defended a couple from Syria who had left the Islam faith and embraced Christianity.

An immigration court of appeals in the United Kingdom granted the Christian convert couple asylum in the U.K. - keeping them from being sent back to Syria where they would have faced death because of the conversion to Christianity.
